  1. Just looking back at the scores, most of the losses were one possession games, and a few by a FG or less.
  2. Texans fumble and lose it. Ooft.
  3. Great cross from Salah for Matip to head a third, Wolves have been poor tonight.
  4. Lovely finish by Wijnaldum on the break to make it 2-0 to Liverpool, Wolves caught out pushing for an equaliser.
  5. With Peter Alliss passing away just about all the voices I grew up to commentating on sport have gone. With only the BBC covering most of the live sport at the time a lot of those voices were synonymous with their sports, here's some of the ones I remember. Genuinely saddened at Alliss's passing, but the truth is he went on quite a few years too long. Peter Alliss - Golf John Motson, Barry Davies, Brian Moore, Archie and Arthur - Football Dan Maskell - Tennis Ted Lowe - Snooker Richie Benaud - Cricket Murray Walker - F1 Bill McLaren and Nigel Starmer Smith - Rugby Union David Coleman - Athletics Harry Carpenter - Boxing Probably a few more I've forgot.
  6. Think JJ goes tonight, his dance was ok last night but pretty underwhelming as Charlestons go.

  8. If Spurs were to go on and win 4-0, will Arteta survive? In the bottom 6 and looking even more disjointed than when he got the job?
  9. Came on to post the same, Egan has to haul him down and take the red card.
  10. Morikawa is the first one that jumps out, he is 3rd in the rankings just from his points in majors and WGC events. Can't see him making the trip over.
  11. 3 Scots bunched together on 67th, 68th and 69th. What happens if anybody drops out, just wondering how many US based players will want to risk leaving their "bubble" to make the trip to Dubai. Could they find their way in as subs?
  12. A trivial matter like death won't stop the BBC from trying to get him to commentate on the Masters and Open highlights next year.
  13. Syme one over for the front 9, will need to go very low coming back to get near the top 60 now.
  14. Only thing that gives me hope this week is that the 49ers have a good record on Monday nights. If (and it's a big if) they can beat the Bills, they would record their 50th MNF win to take the lead as the team with most wins, currently tied with the Steelers on 49.
  15. England managed to create a secure bubble in the summer which worked well even with the different touring teams. We haven't even reached the test matches yet in SA and it has fallen apart. Serious questions have to be asked of the hosts.
  16. Did Chelsea let the biggest arseholes in their support get in first? The fake crowd noise was better than this.
  17. Very weak, especially from Cooper.
  18. A closing 63 saw Grant Forrest finish as best placed Scot in Dubai, 6th place on his own on -21, 4 shits adrift of winner Antoine Rozner. Warren hit 67 to end up -19 (T8th), MacIntyre hit level par to finish T19th on 16 under, Howie was 14 under and Gallacher 13 under.
  19. There's no way they could disallow that using that camera angle, if they are going to now let VAR look at that they need to have cameras looking directly along the lines. No doubt Ole will get plaudits for making changes if they win, which will completely overlook the fact that he made a rip roaring c**t of the starting line up. Lucky it was only 1-0 at half time, but they look home and dry now at 3-1 up.
  20. Turner replaces McInally on the bench for this afternoon's match after the latter's wife went into labour.
  21. Halfway through How To Fix a Drugs Scandal. True story of how 2 chemists in labs in Massachusetts caused thousands of drug convictions to be quashed, one by falsifying drug reports, the other by consuming the drugs they were testing while working.
  22. Exactly how it works at my GPs. If you phone first thing in the morning they will either call you back and offer you an appointment, or a doctor will call you back.
  23. Aye, even compared to previous collapses it was a bad one. Losing wickets in clusters.
