Football is miles behind other sports when it comes to head injuries. It's long overdue that players should have to go off for at least 10 minutes for a proper assessment to he carried out, just let a temporary sub come on same as they do in rugby union. The fact Luiz had to go off at half time speaks volumes.

Aye, a few players made a right horlicks of the last, especially the American guy Crocker. A birdie would have got him a playoff, but a triple bogey 8 saw him in a 4 way tie for second which would have cost him a few quid and ranking points.

I've said since early last season that the EPL system of applying VAR to offsides has completely forgotten about the "clear and obvious mistake" part if it. If you need to take that long to decide if it was on or offside then I would suggest it wasn't clear or obvious.

Just reading that of the 5 coaches with the shortest odds to get sacked at the start of the season, 3 of them have now gone. (O'Brien, Quinn and Patricia). The other two still clinging on are Gase and Marrone, who have a 1-19 record between them.

It took until yesterday for it to show I was a member of a club, with the club confirming weeks ago that I was definitely on all the stuff submitted to Scottish golf. Still a wee bit of a head scratcher that your course handicap doesn't equate exactly to the number of shots you get. Supposed we'll get used to it.
