I used to play at Linn Park, I work for the council and at the time the annual pass for employees was only £120. The club I was in was only 35 quid for the year, and was SGU affiliated so we had medals/competitions every week and a proper registered handicap. There are/were several similar clubs at all the Glasgow municipal courses.

Who knows what will happen with next weekend's ties now that England is going into lockdown again. Only "elite" sport is still allowed, and 9 of the ties in round 1 feature teams who are not classed as elite, including the likes of Skelmersdale who are the lowest ranked team left in the competition from tier 9.

Same for me. Only knew 1 person who was confirmed as positive first time around. Knew 2 folk who have died in the last few weeks with Covid. 1 of those had health problems, the other had dementia but was still physically fit and active. One of those was my mate's mother in law, my mate and his wife and her parents had all gone to Blackpool for a weekend away, and all 4 had developed symptoms and gone on to test positive within a few days of coming home. My workmate is currently isolating after his daughter tested positive.
