If anybody hasn't already listened to his From My Home To Yours series on BBC Sounds, it's well worth the effort. The episode with Bruce, Little Steven and Southside Johnny is like 3 mates gabbing down the pub. The choice of music right through it is excellent. It also has a 1 hour special on now with Bruce talking to Dermot O'Leary who is just as big a fanboy as the rest of us.

I certainly won't be laughing, got too many friends at clubs who have decided to play who will have invested a lot of time, effort and money to make that happen. I hope for their sake the season plays out without too many problems.

Not an expert, but I did replace wooden framed single glazing in a tenement flat with UPVC double glazing. Made a big difference in terms of keeping the flat warm, definitely used the fire and heating less. Biggest difference was in the sound levels from the traffic outside. The advice I got from a friend who worked in an estate agents at the time was that new windows wouldn't add much in terms of value to a flat, but they would make it more sellable.
