  1. Gary Neville tweeted that the biggest cause of their problems is the onfield ref not using the screen, there seems to be a real fear in the VAR room about overturning any decision as they seem to think it undermines the onfield ref.
  2. Scotland's Gemma Dryburgh won at Royal St. George's yesterday to become the first professional women golfer ever to win a tournament there. That made it 2 wins in a row after winning last week's event. Fair play to Justin Rose for setting up the mini tour. https://www.bunkered.co.uk/golf-news/gemma-dryburgh-makes-history-on-rose-ladies-series?fbclid=IwAR3qanXNsKmtGbstG7tPofI5UAWhh2lihKF2fbM7SsbQS3pcebCxp1XLRow Paul Lawrie has also set up a schedule of events for Scottish pros, starting with 6 events this year bit hoping to build a good quality Tartan Tour in the next few years. https://www.scotsman.com/sport/golf/paul-lawrie-excited-offer-lifeline-scottish-pros-left-limbo-season-2902001
  3. Which proves it's not the technology that's the problem, it's the useless c***s that are operating it.
  4. I'm listening to 5live and both John Murray and Robbie Savage aren't convinced it should have been penalty either.
  5. Massive win for Watford, lifting them 4 points clear of the bottom 3. Can't see Villa or Bournemouth catching them tbh, and Norwich are now all but relegated.
  6. I would think so too, as revenues and salary caps increase you have to think that Mahomes will get more even more money further down the line.
  7. It's a 10 year extension, meaning he is contracted to the Chiefs for the next 12 seasons.
  8. Ladies and gentlemen of P&B, I extend a warm and cordial invitation to meet up in the beer garden of The Brass Button in Motherwell. If you are lucky you'll get the seats furthest from the bins.
  9. We were talking on Saturday when we were playing, wondering if there will be any good deals to play the top Scottish courses this year as they will be down on visitors, especially the Americans and Japanese. An advert for Royal Aberdeen popped up on my Facebook tonight, offering a fourball at £125 per head rather than the usual £195.
  10. The men's and women's finals from Wimbledon 1980 are in this afternoon. Cawley v Evert Lloyd on just now, with the epic Borg v McEnroe 5 setter to come.
  11. Probably most famous for the Good, the Bad and the Ugly etc, but his soundtrack for The Mission was his best work imo.
  12. I'm 50 next January and my treat to myself will be a fully fitted driver. My swing speed is similar to yours so fully expecting a "senior" shaft. [emoji3]
  13. Trouble is the USPGA want courses that look nice on TV with manicured rough, not the knee high stuff I was in at the weekend if I missed a fairway by 30 yards like Bryson did a couple of times. He missed the first 4 fairways yesterday (one of them by miles) but was 3 under for those holes. That can't be right, the straightest drivers are getting no benefit from hitting fairways.
  14. Fair play to Southampton, given how shite the bottom 4 are there is no chance they are going down, but they are throwing their bodies into every challenge.
  15. If you work that out as distance per minute, rather then per game, Henderson covers approx 1.4m more every minute played than Pogba.
  16. Eamon Lynch calls him out in this article.. https://golfweek.usatoday.com/2020/07/04/eamon-lynch-bryson-dechambeau-berating-a-cameraman-reveals-his-true-brand/amp/?__twitter_impression=true
  17. DeChambeau having a mild touch of roid rage last night, taking the hump with a cameraman for having the audacity to film him throwing a club after hitting a shite bunker shot.
