If you are going to persist with jobbers like Coleman and Young this is the type of result you deserve.

I remember the 2021 start to the season as f**k all would grow because it had been so dry. Our staff have been able to get out with the smaller machines and cut greens to 5mm, tees to 11mm, and do some other bits and pieces, but it's far too soft to get the big stuff on course. The fairways were all cut an aerated a fortnight ago so they are not too bad.

7 for Monday.

We have 17 main greens and 1 winter green in play today, but the course is soaking wet.

He rarely gets himself in really bad positions, something McIlroy should have paid attention to when playing with him the first two days. Although Aberg is going to come up just short, this is a superb showing for his first ever major, especially at Augusta.

Even his missus going into labour won't stop him now.

Going to take Scheffler having a heads gone for him not to win, everyone else falling apart.

Just a 4 putt bogey for Rory on 13.

He's the type of player who could dig out a 65 or something, going by some of the early scores there are birdies out there.

It's as strange a Saturday as I can ever remember at Augusta. So many players getting into good positions only to hit a bad shot or two and slide back down the leaderboard.

I wouldn't say he was unlucky at St. Andrews, he hit most of the greens in regulation but was miles from the hole most of the time. Smith gave himself much better chances for birdies.

Pretty much 6 hours dead for the afternoon groups, I know the wind slows things up but even so that's ridiculous.

That's a wee shame that Sergio played the last 4 holes in 5 over to go from comfortably inside the cut line to being 2 shots outside it.

That's a shocker by Viktor. Struggling to make the cut anyway but that's totally fucked it.

He's holed two great birdie putts since then to get back to +4, that one on 16 was absurd.

Rahm with an absolute shocker of a putt on 14. Looks like a broken man.

Probably still a couple of shots better than I would manage on 15. Edit: just watched it on the app, through the green in 3 and putted it right off the front and into the water.

Surprised he hasn't been dragged away by a mob of old men in green blazers.
