Saw pictures on Twitter the other week, Augusta keep buying up land, and the latest project seems to be to shift the 13th tee further back to make it harder to hit the green with a drive and a mid or short iron. That's one of golf's iconic holes, but the equipment has made it irrelevant. The circled bit is the 12th green and existing 13th tee, and Augusta bought land from the course next door, and you can see the new service road that has already been built. It's estimated it will make the hole 50 yards longer, but as usual Augusta are admitting nothing.
