  1. Finally got a chance to listen to it last night. South Africa certainly have a lot of work to do, and you would presume de Kock will take over as test skipper now that Faf has stood down. The elephant in the room though is the quota system, which was introduced for sound reasons but undoubtedly limit the SA team selections in all formats. Interesting to hear how far out of the picture Hales is, basically no chance of returning while Morgan is involved.
  2. The thing I like most about Robert MacIntyre is that he really seems to have his head screwed on. Another good interview from him here. https://www.bunkered.co.uk/golf-news/georgia-not-on-robert-macintyres-mind
  3. Definitely saw it the other day, doesn't seem to be any trace of it now.
  4. Remember the name, certainly couldn't pick him out in an ID parade.
  5. Nick de Luca? Or one of our other mediocre backs of that era?
  6. Thanks to Paul Sinha on Countdown yesterday for some cricket facts. Alex Stewart, born 8/4/63 Career test runs: 8463
  7. Just seen the tweet confirming the semi finals as being on 18th and 25th April. Potentially an 8 week gap between round 5 and the first leg of the semis, that's absurd imo. It also means the final will almost certainly be scheduled for after most senior grounds have been shut down for the summer.
  8. Lord knows what happened at Scarlets, but he had been playing regularly then all of a sudden was shipped out to Quins. A few years ago it looked like a straight fight between him and Price to take over from Laidlaw, but SHC has fallen right out the picture due to his lack of games, and the emergence of George Horne.
  9. It was purely to decide if the Juniors should try to join the pyramid or not, there were no conditions attached regarding each region so the assumption was made that it was still an all or nothing scenario.
  10. He's had a strange few years, hopefully he can settle in quickly at Sandy Park.
  11. Sun is out and a good drying wind, no bother.
  12. Not sure, I know Canterbury used to have one. Same flooding happened last year, and also in 2007, which they reckoned took them 9 years to recoup their losses from cancelled games. Hopefully this is early enough that they can get sorted in time for the season starting.
  13. Little bit of moisture in the pitch at Worcestershire...
  14. Last Monday night's Tuffers and Vaughan show with Steven Finn standing in for Vaughan was a decent listen. Interesting to hear him tell the story of how he caused himself to have a stress fracture of the foot, all because he had a sore toe.
  15. Surprised to find it was only slightly higher at 54mm.
  16. Adam Scott wins by two in the end.
  17. And they have finally shown Varner's topped 3 wood.
  18. And another for birdie to give him a 2 shot lead. Rory drops another.
  19. Kuchar now in Sunday choke mode.
  20. A 129 yard 3 wood. I can beat that. Missed on the coverage, probably showing somebody who was about 17 shots back at the time.
  21. Whatever happens on the back 9, Rory has had far too many Sundays like this in the last few years.
