  1. David Drysdale jumped from 475th on the OWGR up to 297th after yesterday's runner up spot.
  2. I'm sure the email last week mentioned 9 top flight clubs, with a couple of mibbies, others undecided, and one definite no, which I think we can safely assume was Clydebank. He wisely didn't put any names in the email, but he has mentioned names at other times.
  3. $6m base value, will need to play for more than half the season to get close to the $8m. Good deal on the Bills part as they have plenty of cap space and can chase him after the year if it doesn't work out, and he played some of his best stuff under Sean McDermott at Carolina.
  4. Nothing new, been mentioned plenty of times further up the page. Only thing different from a "normal" delegates meeting was that I heard at the weekend that clubs had been asked to send 2 from their President, VP and Secretary. Gordon Ronney has been naming clubs as backing the West Region proposal fully, be interesting to see if any of them dispute that tomorrow night.
  5. No surprise, but it didn't take Ernie long to win in the Champion's Tour.
  6. Certainly a much better performance yesterday, forwards fronted up big time and the defence was much more cohesive. Will reserve judgement until after the Cardiff match, to see if we turn up away from home for a change.
  7. I got petrol yesterday and it was about 5p per litre less than the last time I fuelled up.
  8. Liked him giving it a big GIRFUY towards the lake after he had got his par.
  9. Second week in a row that conditions have been tough. Hard fast greens with gusty winds aren't a good combination. Hatton toughed it out at the end, surprised to see Im blow up like that. Did anybody catch what Hatton's caddy said to him? I know it was "fkn" something, but I was watching on my phone and couldn't rewind to listen again.
  10. To put it in context, in regulation play there was only 6 birdies on 18 all day out of 77 players, yet they managed 5 between them in the playoff. Scarily good quality under pressure.
  11. During the foot and mouth outbreak in the early 2000s the 6 nations didn't finish until the autumn. The problem is finding spare dates.
  12. Lovely stuff, great break by Harris.
  13. It's the French though. There's always one of them liable to do something crazy.
  14. To hole 1 putt like that would have been remarkable enough, but 3 of them? Fkn hell. [emoji26]
  15. Gutted. Campillo holes another long putt, which Drysdale unfortunately couldn't match.
  16. Pars again. Back to the 18th tee for the 5th time in the playoff. This might be the last chance to settle it today.
  17. Drysdale has hit 5 drives down 18 in the last hour that you could throw a blanket over. Light starting to fade, so now buggying the players down to hit their seconds.
  18. Both hit pars the third time round, back to the tee again.
  19. And same again the second time, with Drysdale having knocked his second to about 7 or 8 feet. Bugger.
  20. Both birdie the 18th, Campillo holing from downtown, leaving Drysdale to knock in a tricky downhill putt to half the hole.
  21. Playoff. Both him and Campillo missed birdie putts, both went close but Campillo was just one roll short from going in.
  22. Missed a few putts today, but still just 2 off the lead.
  23. Egghead Dave Rainford is a bit scrambled. https://news.sky.com/story/eggheads-jeremy-vine-leads-tributes-as-star-dave-rainford-dies-11952542
