  1. Pretty uninspiring choice if it turns out to be true, he's been part of a Scotland staff that haven't improved the team.
  2. No chance of finishing first, even second will be a push tbh with Netherlands playing Bermuda tomorrow. PNG won by 43 runs, while Namibia beat Kenya by 87 runs. Table now looks like this.
  3. Not many Scots troubling the top end of the leaderboard at the Portugal Masters, although there is the rare sight of Marc Warren making a cut, which hasn't happened too often in what has been a dismal year. Matteo Mannasero was tipped to be the next big thing not that long ago, he had 4 European Tour wins by the age of 20. Since then though he has struggled badly, but he is still only 26, his card from yesterday doesn't make pleasant reading though, and with no form to speak of a trip to Q school will be a daunting prospect.
  4. 76-2 after 10. Very smart over there scoring 10 without hitting a boundary.
  5. Battered 32 from the next 3 overs to take it to 51-1 from 7.
  6. Not a great start as Coetzer is out, 19-1 after 4 overs.
  7. England have named Sam Billings as vice captain for the T20s against New Zealand.
  8. Hong Kong the latest to upset the form book with a win over Jersey, who had won 2 out of 3 while Hong Kong had lost their first 3 games. Both groups are really tight with only the Netherlands and Canada having 100% records at the moment.
  9. Been a few shock results, hopefully Scotland can manage to beat Bermuda tomorrow then it all comes down to the final match against the Netherlands.
  10. Namibia won again today and Singapore lost to Kenya. Ireland lost to Canada.
  11. Emmanuel Sanders heading to the 49ers from the Broncos.
  12. A very lucky 8 for Tuesday. You can be sure of Shell, or not as it turns out as I got that wrong. Constellation wrong too.
  13. Hopefully he only plays the singles and they leave the doubles to Jamie and Skupski.
  14. I can't really get the major seethe either tbh, it's not as if it was a controversial decision, it was as clear a red card as you will ever see. He's been asked to pose for a photo and did so, he can't win, if he tells them to feck off he probably gets slagged all over Twitter too.
  15. I think long term 2016 was bad for his health, the schedule he played to get to the number one spot was horrendous.
  16. SA 26/4 at tea after being made to follow on again by India. They still need 309 more to make India bat again.
  17. Think the problem with this is it years too late, and trying to shoe horn it in now can only be to the detriment of the existing competitions. Plenty of former players have already started hyping it up off the back of the draft last night. Funnily enough a lot of the same ones who moaned all summer about the lack of good red ball players.
