  1. Murray got 35% of the vote, Sinfield 28% and Ennis Hill was a distant third with 8%.
  2. AP McCoy is an absolute class act, brilliant speech and a thoroughly deserved award.
  3. Warriors hang on for a 9-6 win. Scarlets missed a kick late on to level it. Not pretty but a great battling performance, especially when they had two men in the bin at the same time.
  4. Hanging on for dear life atm, went down to 13 men for a spell and Lee Jones has had to come on at scrum half now to replace Hart who had clashed heads with Seymour.
  5. Dan Carter has won the overseas award.
  6. Northampton and Racing 92 drew 9-9 last night in what appears to have been a bit of a boring game. That puts Racing on top of the section with 12 points from 3 games and Saints second with 10 from 4. A repeat of last week's bonus point win for the Warriors would also put them on 10 points from 3 games.
  7. I can beat that with Petershill tbh, but a few of them were for one off games same as the ones he cites for Clydebank. Bellshill's grounds were all for at least a whole season. Off the top of my head, when Petershill Park was being built we played at the following as home games. St. Roch's Ashfield Maryhill Cambuslang Pollok (Scottish Cup replay v Arthurlie) Cumbernauld (Scottish tie v Newburgh) Dunipace (Scottish replay v Ballingry Rovers) and old and new Petershill Parks makes that 9.
  8. Exactly, I've never played the game but even I know you can't put a kick off or a drop out straight into touch.
  9. They might have done, can't think of any others off the top of my head. They've used Fullarton a few times when they've been in between grounds in Bellshill. Forgot Clyde had used so many too.
  10. Been to around 130 different grounds in various grades, but wonder if anyone can beat this one. I've seen Bellshill Athletic play at 4 different home grounds, 5 if you count groundsharing. Has anyone seen a team play at more home grounds than this? Brandon Park New Brandon Park Matt Busby Sports Centre Rockburn Park And sharing at Vale of Clyde.
  11. Glasgow Warriors postponed match against Leinster will take place on Friday 18th March.
  12. If it makes you feel better, it was called "les dents de la mer" in France, literally the teeth of the sea.
  13. Just spat out my cornflakes when I heard that on the beeb there. Good hooker, but a fkn idiot. He's spent over a year of his career banned for various things including biting and gouging, and missed the world cup after being banned for a headbutt. Not instantly obvious captaincy material, or maybe it's just top trolling by Eddie Jones. Iirc he also got a red card in a Premiership final for calling Wayne Barnes a "fkn cheat". Classy character.
  14. Motorway gantries that show info that has f**k all relevance to the road you are on or the direction you are travelling. E.G. Just been out on a road test and a gantry on the M8 westbound near Glasgow Airport is showing FRB CLOSED FOR THE NORTH USE M8/M73/M9/A9 I'm almost 50 miles from the Forth Bridge, and going in the opposite direction. Anyone planning on going north on the M8 westbound is definitely going the wrong way.
  15. I was in the Bon Accord at Charing Cross on Friday and they have a bottle of this on the top shelf. At £900 a half it could be just the thing you are looking for! And there is a least a couple of measures out of it, so somebody hasn't been scared off by the price.
  16. No wonder, on that showing by the WIndies you certainly aren't going to plan on seeing Day 3 or 4.
  17. For all the good they did, you would have been as well shoving them up...Oh wait...
  18. Up til now I was pretty ambivalent in regards to the bridge being closed. Now though we have to travel to play Hill of Beath in mid January so it better be fixed by then.
  19. The scary part is that someone, somewhere thinks they are funny.
  20. The latest Tesco ads with Ben Miller are utterly dreadful.
  21. An absolute horsing as the Aussies win by an innings and 212 runs. Windies all out for 148 with Brathwaite scoring 95 of them. Gabriel looks as if he will be on the way home with the foot injury he suffered on day 1, he was a bit erratic anyway but he is their quickest bowler.
  22. M8/M73/M74? Absolute disaster area, Raith interchange at Bothwell is a nightmare.
  23. 21-2 now after Bravo is dismissed for the second time in under an hour.
  24. A rare sight these days, but Australia have enforced the follow on after the Windies could only add 16 more runs for the loss of their last wickets with Shannon Gabriel unable to bat. They are currently 15-1 after Chandrika went for nought.
