  1. Djokovic took the first set 6-3, and wins the first game of the second set too.
  2. There's Something About Mary Still my favourite Farrelly brothers film, still as funny now as it was when I first saw it in the cinema years ago. It has some brilliantly funny scenes in it, and if you like comedies but haven't seen it then I would heartily recommend that you should. 9/10
  3. There has been a lot of things that Kaepernick did well in his earlier days, but he has definitely gone backwards this season and last. It hasn't all been down to him, the o-line has gotten progressively worse, and there has been some downright criminal play calling at times. The underuse of Vernon Davis last season was truly baffling, while his refusal to run with the ball this season hasn't helped either, there have been many times that he has had space to move into but has turned down the chance. The flip side is that he has made some errors that even rookies would get stick for, like the play in the link where he fails to read that the Rams have over committed to the run, and that as a result Torrey Smith is wide open and would have one safety to beat to score a TD. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/0ap3000000570028/49ers-Colin-Kaepernick-doesn-t-see-open-receiver
  4. Yep, never at any point has there been a hint that he had a medical problem of any kind. Will be the end of his season and probably his 49ers career.
  5. With no mention of what the actual injury is. Bizarre. Edit: the 49ers website doesn't mention the injury, but it appears he asked to have surgery on his non throwing shoulder which he seemingly hurt in week 4.
  6. My mistake, I'd assumed it was deliberate that 2 played 3 as it seemed to be happening every year! Hopefully he can still be second seed then, 2 singles wins next week are a must for Murray anyway just from the Davis Cup point of view, does his ranking no harm too.
  7. Most of the ones around me (Bishopbriggs/Lenzie/Kirky area) are around the same. Been looking at Campsie as a workmate is a member there, they were doing introductory offer of £40 per month for your first year.
  8. No he wouldn't, whatever way around he and Federer are at 2 & 3 they are seeded to play each other in the semi. Numbers 1 & 4 play the other semi.
  9. Won't make that much difference really, whether he is 2 and Federer 3 or vice versa they will still be in the same half of the draw and in the opposite half from Djokovic. Would make a difference to his quarter final opponent but he would back himself against just about everyone outside the rest of the top 4 anyway.
  10. It was snowing here when I went to bed last night but it's all gone now.
  11. Rumoured to be the highest paid coach in world rugby, did a terrific job with Japan.
  12. Thought the same tbh, I'd be quite happy if any of my local clubs were only that price!
  13. Brian Moore's excellent tribute to Lomu from the Telegraph. 5Live also had a programme last night with the likes of Zinzan Brooke and Andrew Merthens among the contributors. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/rugbyunion/international/newzealand/12004193/Jonah-Lomus-power-speed-balance-and-dexterity-made-him-devastating-he-changed-the-game-of-rugby-forever.html
  14. Enjoying this series too, better than the first series imo.
  15. One of my abiding memories of rugby is Lomu bursting on to the scene at the 1995 world cup, and especially the try when he trampled Mike Catt into the turf against England after already flooring two English players before he got to him. He is the template for most modern backs. 40 is no age at all, very sad to hear of his passing.
  16. My missus has had that, and although it's painful and a bit of an inconvenience, "battling" is definitely a bit OTT.
  17. Yep, Knox goes top of the FedEx pile, G-Mac is about 7th. I too like him and glad to see him get his first win for a couple of years, that accent though!
  18. G-Mac wins at the first extra hole with a birdie after he almost holed his second shot.
  19. Knox bogeys the last to end up in a 3 way tie with G-Mac and Bohn. Just about to get underway on SS4.
  20. NZ got to 624 all out with Taylor the last wicket to fall having scored 290, the highest score by any Kiwi in Australia. The Aussies got to 258-2 at the close, lead of 193. Looks like a cert draw at the moment.
  21. People who get themselves into a raging mess about what other folk put on Facebook/ Twitter etc. Unfollow, unfriend or block them ffs, it's not hard.
