Aye there were folk marching through Glasgow City Centre yesterday. The "Ancient Sons of William" or something with loads of Rangers fans walking alongside. Awful people. -
Part of the problem with the Twitter Silence is that it was organised by the self-important media class (people like Moran, Helen Lewis and Glinner) who honestly believe that their periodic absence from Twitter is enough to demand change.

I think it was Helen Lewis who RT'd someone that was discussing whether Twitter should start charging new users a registration fee. Awful suggestion.

I can get behind what they're aggrieved about but Moran and some of the others are godawful Twitter users that block large numbers of people just for pointing out how utterly wrong they are on a range of issues.

Just got tickets for two nights of the Warehouse Project down in Manchester for my girlfriend's birthday. The Bestival night featuring Hot Chip, Chic and 2manydjs and then Field Day Presents which has Four Tet, Thom Yorke and Joy Orbison among others. Cannot wait!
