  1. the b2b2b and siriusmodeselektor were absolutely class. if you spotted a guy in a camo jacket going off then hi, that was me.
  2. He's already seen it, m8 before I mentioned it I don't think it was a big secret tbf.
  3. Aye I figured that. Long shot but does anyone have the thread? I need to send it to his son. Found out he literally had to go out and purchase an envelope to send it back. I don't care if that's old news that's real commitment to hating a managerial appointment.
  4. Who was the Dundee fan on here that sent his season ticket back and used his wife's the next week? I've just found out he's a mate of mine's da.
  5. You should do it as subtweeting is much worse than calling people up on it.
  6. Don't show him Ru Paul he'll have a seethe induced heart attack.
  7. Trigger warnings aren't a flag of offence, they're for people with PTSD and it's apparent that people who were raped within marriage and so on could be traumatised by that scene.
  8. Aye I'm waiting to see how they develop the character of Sansa first from this. If she goes back to being as you said a damsel in distress it's negated quite a lot of development of her as a character by producers who had Jaime rape his sister last season and argue that it wasn't.
  9. Really need to catch him sometime. Him, Gerd and Vynehall actually I'm gutted I missed it.
  10. My friend's been involved in it's set up. Said Gerd, Derrick and Bicep were terrific.
  11. Had him in first year. From what I recall he was a good laugh and made the topics interesting. He largely focuses on Scotland in the early 20th century particularly around Red Clydeside and so on. Fairly sure he was the coordinator for dissertations as well so must be regarded as organised.
  12. The History course at Dundee is excellent. I studied there and Chris Storrs alone is worth accepting. A legend.
  13. Reckon the establishment of countries not along tribal borders is a pretty big influence on conflict in that part of the world tbh.
  14. Can empathise with the anxiety over menial tasks. I can't go to the same place for my lunch where I'm working or living cause I get pure heavy anxious that the people there are judging me or commenting on me even though it's ridiculous.
  15. http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2014/aug/05/neoliberalism-mental-health-rich-poverty-economy Related to the last post this is an excellent article on the undoubted links between mental health and neoliberalism. From my limited experience and that of my friends I can see it. A lot of positive traits are actively discouraged or punished in many workplaces and the constant competition is incredibly unhealthy for anyone who isn't completely capable of coping with it. I'm going into teaching myself and while it's going to be a battle I've got the impression that there's an element of camaraderie between teachers that I think is a good thing.
  16. Ponsonby (I think) absolutely going in on Coburn on Scotland Tonight atm. Slaughtered him on his claim that most marriages between British nationals and foreign citizens are sham marriages, where UKIP are going to find £5.5 billion cuts and other manifesto pledges.
  17. The SNP can definitely be accused of trying to chase the middle class vote as much as many other mainstream parties. The difference is that they're much more competent and do still retain some semblance of social justice. I'm not huge on them but atm there's little more to champion than competent government and independence in the near future.
  18. Marks and Spencer's BNP surely?
  19. I'm feeling quite content at the moment. Drained from having to constantly travel and work in a job I'm ambivalent about but everything's falling into place.
  20. I'm more annoyed by the argument that we should invest in weapons of mass destruction because some people rely on it for work.
  21. That bow tie tweet he wrote legit the WOAT.
  22. Who's everyone blocked by? I'm blocked by Caitlin Moran and Stan Collymore. Quite pleased tbh.
  23. I can't think of another obviously right wing commentator that will concede the problem of Islamophobia in the west in influencing radicalisation among other views that I can agree with like Hitchens. Also his brother is revered by arseholes and it's funny to see how different he is.
