    Finally got to Sub Club yesterday. Wow.

    Empire's alright actually. It's the first one I bought and you can download mods that let you play as every single available nation which extends the game somewhat as there are loads of nations available. Campaign map's been updated and looks much different to Rome and Medieval but it's still good.

    I bought it along with Victoria II and Europa Universalis when the Paradox sale was on. Absolutely engrossing games. Have you seen the Elder Scroll's mod as well? Been playing in Skyrim and it's great fun as well incorporating things like the Dragonborn, necromancers, goblins and the Dark Brotherhood.

    Went to Headway for KiNK's live set back in March. Was a class night. Bleep and Book Club are two other quality nights. The student nights on the Thursday's are definitely the best way to experience Rooms though as they're always rammed due to the cheap drinks, entry and the organisers generally knowing loads of people.

    The one thing I'll give the Union credit for is that nearly everyone goes there so it's always easy to find someone you know when inevitably I wander off and lose everyone. Air Bar's always good for the people that on karaoke singing things like Mumford & Sons to appear earnest in front of the lassie they're trying to pull

    Rooms is class. Well worth the extra price for entry if you're into decent music and a more interesting clientele.

    Bought Rome in the Steam sale the other day for £1. Definitely worth it. *Not the city!

    What capacity's the Hydro going to be? I had it in my head that it would be a venue bigger than the SECC but I don't imagine that Jimmy Eat World and Queens would even sell out the SECC. Bought tickets for Electric Frog in August which Boys Noize is headlining and another for Deerhunter in October at the Arches.

    I'm 6'2 and bang on 11 stone but I wear large shirts and t shirts. Admittedly they are slightly big for me but mediums are a bit too neat for my liking.

    The finale is usually quite anti-climactic as the 9th episode tends to be the centre piece but I enjoyed it. Sets everything up nicely for season 4.
