  1. I wonder where it's all going tbh. Particularly with the US Dollar. They've been QEing enormously again since September last year. I noticed that China and Japan aren't buying as much of their treasury bonds now and have even started dumping them. It's tying to crude oil is the only thing that keeps it afloat imo.
  2. The problem with a devaluing currency is when other Countries stop buying your treasury bonds (debt) and actively start selling their reserves of your currency. A flood of money ends up back in circulation and compounds devaluation with inflation.
  3. Japan did this for decades to aid their export market.
  4. You're more likely to find patients on here than any potential employees!
  5. Juve have the financial muscle of Fiat behind them. Granted, Napoli have been good. Not sure where their money comes from tbh.
  6. Definitely. I also think that globalist neoliberalist centrist Politics of the last 20-30years has left far too many people behind, and not just in the 3rd World either. E.G : NAFTA in the US, The EU & the IMF/World Bank terms has helped the polarisation too.
  7. I think a lot of it is miscommunication really. The roles are reversed in my situation, where I work PT and my wife works FT, with me making the meals, looking after our daughter and keeping house. My wife works long hours in a high pressure job and more often than not comes home, has dinner, a bath and then falls asleep with our daughter which can leave me feeling somewhat unappreciated. She gets reminded from time to time!
  8. Whilst the match fixing scandal played a major part, the revenues from their TV deal being surpassed and now dwarfed by the EPL, La Liga, Bundesliga and even Ligue 1 has probably been the biggest factor.
  9. It's not just the radicals, although they are the most vocal, it's anyone that "voter shames". As we've seen in the recent GE and with Trump in the US, all this does is disengage most people of the opposing view from any form of debate and with that the opportunity to change their opinion. I disagree with you regarding Centrism as I'm of the opinion that globalist, neoliberalist centrism has sleepwalked us into the Worldwide situation we currently find ourselves in, resulting in the rise of the far left and right. Each to their own though.
  10. I've only met my S-I-L about 3 times. She's a bit of a hermit and lives in Kobe.
  11. Sorry to disappoint you but I don't keep pictures of my sister-in-law. That just wouldn't feel right.
  12. If the 14yo was within 50ft of you then I'm afraid you did violate the terms of your parole..... Go directly to jail, do not collect £200, Throbber.
  13. Surely it depends upon what your wearing the clothes for doing? When I was landscaping the garden last year I would just re-wear the same work clothes.
  14. I'm sure she was in her day but she's 73yo now. My sister-in-law on the other hand......
  15. Eh? Is my mother-in-law a "watashi wa"? (I'm)
  16. No! Don't even think about that, you filthy 40something, Star Wars loving VL! The wife was supposed to be coming later but had to work.
  17. Could be worse, you could have spent your entire weekend at your mother-in-law's without your wife there!
  18. They'd be falling over each others objectivity if it was one of their pals that got the job. I wouldn't necessarily call it racism as they were just as obtuse towards Cathro. I think they just don't like outsiders tbh.
  19. Stendel's getting bad press because he's not part of the "old pals act" they (the media & the professional football fraternity) so love in Scotland. It's that simple.
  20. This is true. Scotland has to acknowledge our major role in the Empire. (In fairness, I think we are starting too) With regards to IndyRef2, I personally think there's issues we still need to address before having another referendum.
