  1. Na. it's just a certain time of the month when she turns into a right moody bitch. Funny how she hid this trait very well until after we were married!
  2. Get in the fucking sea, you pair of fat fuckers!
  3. It's 27C here at 1.30am in the morning. How hot do you think it was at 6pm?! Loading up on carbs sounds like a great idea!
  4. Top one is steamed salmon with boiled green beans and eggs in a natural yoghurt/black olive dressing. The bottom one is a plum, maple syrup and cinnamon tart with vanilla ice cream. (you can't see the pastry it's sitting on in the pic)
  5. Made these two dishes (Pics from recipe site - not mine btw!) for dinner tonight to which my wife's reaction was to complain about the lack of carbs. My response was to suggest that she "makes her own fucking dinner in future". She's now in a huff with me.....
  6. Open and shut case: Dave King clearly being bullied.....Any right footed minded Judge will surely kick this case out.
  7. A threesome would be tricky but it's just as well that I'm a considerate lover......
  8. Actually, sod it! Hot and sour soup: Chuck the following into a pot: chicken breast cut into strips, prawns, pork (I use thick luncheon meat cut into strips), carrot, ginger, bamboo shoots, onion and mushrooms (all cut into finger length strips) I put in some broccoli sprigs tonight too. Add some chopped garlic and some chicken stock. bring to the boil then add chilli paste and white wine vinegar to suit your taste. Chop some spring onions and add them and some beansprouts to your bowl before serving the hot and sour soup on top of them so the heat of the soup will cook them sufficiently without overdoing them. Eat immediately!
  9. I thought you doubted the existence of every single wife of Posters on here?
  10. I'm too busy being a househusband these days I'm afraid......
  11. Made hot and sour soup as well as slow cooked pork tenderloin marinaded in dijon mustard, balsamic vinegar and honey for dinner tonight. The house is filled with delightful aromas! Grounds for divorce if the wife doesn't put out after this tonight I'd say!
  12. True. If you've watched the sugar documentary from a few years back (was an Aussie production), it certainly ties in with that way of thinking. Good watch btw.
  13. Yeah, It was pretty mythical in its use round my way back then too. The jet set age kicked in around about the 50's so would explain the increase in availability from then I suppose.
  14. Hmm good point. What are they now saying it is? Disease? Isn't that also negating personal responsibility too? I don't agree with people calling it a "weakness" as I definitely think there's more to it than that. Psychological defect?
  15. I'm guessing with price has a lot to do with it too. Look at the increase in use of coke over the last 25 years. used to be a "rich mans drugs" now every c***s having a wee burner as a sharpener after a few pints!
  16. Do the Dundee stats include Perth? Am guessing a few OD cases will be sent through to Ninewells.
  17. I get what you're saying. Couldn't it be argued that personality in the individual is made up of the 3 factors (perhaps more?) and not just in isolation? Strange how some just don't know when, or want to stop in many cases.
  18. How much of that was down to the way the statistics were gathered and tallied back them? Can make a big difference.
  19. Was it? How is addiction defined nowadays then? It being relative to personality certainly made sense when recovering addicts were often found to have replaced one addiction for another. i.e: alcoholism to gambling for example.
  20. The mates I had at school that are now junkies (not sure how many are left as at least 5 or 6 are dead) all came from decent, albeit not wealthy families and backgrounds. They also ripped the piss out of older junkies, so they knew heroin wasn't exactly a good career move even back then. I personally think it purely comes down to whether you have an addictive personality or not. I was tanning E's and various other drugs as a 15-17yo with these guys but luckily I didn't have an addictive personality and thus was happy to stop and not graduate onto heroin. Not sure what the answer to reduce such deaths is in all honesty.
  21. We've found a way of slowing Sakura's eating down.....chopsticks! Actually works too!
  22. Thought Steve Bunce (yes, I know!) made a good point about the WBSS being a bit of a risk for Taylor at this stage of his career. In terms of his lack of experience and potentially facing 3 World level opponents one after another......that said, it doesn't seem to have done Usyk any harm! Don't get me wrong, As a boxing fan, I'm all for it but I can see why Promoters "cherry pick" opponents and guide their fighters down certain career paths. Frank Warren being a classic example.
  23. I've only recently started to get the odd one or two grey hairs which isn't bad for 42yo I think.....not really that fussed for dying it. That said, on the odd occasions where I've grown a full beard I've had to dye it using just for men to avoid the indignity of it being fucking ginger! I quite like having a beard but not when it becomes ginger after a certain length.
