I see strichener has been active over the last few pages, I've got him on ignore so don't know what he's on about now, but it is interesting to note that Strichen is only a few miles from two major Scottish fishing ports, Fraserburgh and Peterhead, and it looks like the tories with their brexit negotiations are selling the hard working fishermen out on protecting British fishing waters, this was a major brexit political selling point in that disgraceful referendum which swayed a lot of people to vote yes throughout the UK. It's the old old story never trust a tory unless you are the landed gentry or a multi millionaire, otherwise you get shit on. Jimmy Buchan you should have listened to Richard Lochhead and the SNP Gov all those years ago. You were always going to be sold down the river, (pardon the pun Jimmy). Roll on Independence away from these pariahs.

From my point of view, and from probably many others on here, the EU was good for Scotland if only for the fact that under EU rules westminster and the despised tory grandees could NOT steamroll major shite social policies onto the Scottish people without EU approval. Now that is gone with Brexit just watch these fuckin tories go to town next year. If say you were in business for instance would you prefer to be tied to one customer with a population of 60 Million or have total unrestricted access to 27 countries with a population of 450 Million. So I ask you as the hypothetical business fella and as a unionist present me with a totally valid and balanced argument as to why you would not prefer to trade unrestrictedly with that huge EU market but remain trading with the smaller market, england, and be at their beck and call?

RR defence completely at fault for our third goal, penalty off the post and the RR defenders stayed rooted by the wall while two Caley players ran through and scored.

Freedom is the answer. Freedom to govern ourselves without the westminster input and an undemocratic unelected HOL telling us what can or cannot do.

You only become a target when you raise your head above the parapet, other western countries refused to go down the road of becoming a nuclear missile repository leased from the Americans. Bear in mind that the guidance systems of all the nuclear missiles we lease from the Americans for multiple billions can only be serviced in the United States by US military personnel. Ask yourself who have we been keeping safe all these years?

Fud Fraser the tory finance wizard?? rubbished Major's proposal on John Beattie's RS show tonight

Faslane will revert to a normal Scottish Naval base as outlined already by Nicola Sturgeon, all jobs will be retained where applicable.

Correct and then we can ask england to remove it's nuclear weaponry from the Clyde and remove Scotlands Central belt from first strike.

Oh C'mon you're not coming up with that old currency chestnut which worked for you in 2014? It won't be the pound as under EU rules when we want to join the EU we cannot be tied to the currency of a non EU country, so an interim currency would be introduced until such time we joined the euro.

An absolute yes to the first part. And an absolute yes to the second to have an equal vote in the EU with the other nations and greatly benefit from trade with that other 27 Nations, and restore all the social benefits that we had as a EU partner. As Joe Biden said yesterday the EU is the world's biggest trading bloc and that leaves england our neighbour and Brexit where. And an absolute yes it is all a great big fuckin good idea and if you can't see that then.....................................................................................................ADIOS.

Appreciate that, looking forward to the game.

I have absolutely no time for print sports journalists, they contribute absolute zero to clubs financially, unlike radio and tv, but their paper makes money out of the none stories they come up with, total freeloaders on game days looking for freebies hospitality wise. Leeches on the game. Some years back I was at a pre season at Grant street, lucky if there were 100 paying spectators there yet there were five print journalists, the race by them at half time heading for the free pies and teas would have given Usain Bolt a run for his money. when we beat Aberdeen in the PL the full back page in the Courier was given over to an absolute non story concerning a possible move to Dundee United by Ross County's Jim McIntyre, our great win was inside. I have never bought the rag since and now I believe the millionaire owner is begging the Inverness public to give him money while his staff are working out of sheds.

Independence is Scotlands future to enable us to be free from a foreign country making decisions on Scotlands welfare and financial structure that we have endured for too long. Until we gain that we will always remain servile in an imbalanced union.

We got an e-mail from the Masters tournament letting us know the online shop was available until the 15th of November, I see the shirts are up to $85 this year. Found a good selection of tournament products though the bag tags don't show the year as they do usually.

Possibly Keatings will start on the bench, I rate him highly when he's on his game, he is hugely experienced and he gives 100% and keeps defences busy, plus good in the box and with assists and I'd be happy to see him stay with us for a couple of more seasons as an out and out forward.

The official President Biden thread.
SandyCromarty replied to Brother Blades's topic in The Politics Forum
Is the definition of the 'most powerful man in the world' the one that has the largest military infrastructure? Or is it defined by 'Sole Authority' over nuclear missile launching? If it is defined by Nuclear missile launching 'Sole Authority' then the title belongs to three men, The US President, The French President and the British Prime Minister. The case for the largest economy is also up for grabs when you consider China's thriving economy. All this Powerful Man talk only feeds the American ego. -
Any political party or group of people, consider workplaces, have dissenters and moaners. For the cause of Independence the Ship is mightier than the crew and putting individuals to one side the end justifies the means regardless of personalities.
