  1. No doubt Bumbling Boris is an arse but this labour rag is no better, let the b*****ds slag each other while we stay on course for Independence.
  2. He's already yesterday's news and it won't make a slight bit of difference to the Independence cause. tories/labour/liberal politicos and journos will hammer on with these stories as this and Ferrier is all they have to go on. We SNP members have become inured to the majority media attacks and it only strengthens our resolve. The print media is on it's knees getting scorched on the dying embers, the millionaire owners have absolutely no shame in asking their readers for donations to allow them to continue with their lies and bile.
  3. The final still to go ahead but the Challenge cup has been dropped this season.
  4. Azerbaijan was a Soviet state until the early nineties. Some years back I was involved with an inspection on BP's Chirag platform, it was noticeable that BP were courting the Azeri workforce wholesale by sending them to the UK on courses while those Russians born in Azerbaijan were ignored. There was also a large British ex pat community in Baku but I don't know if that is still the case. Could Russia get involved here?
  5. I know there's a forum for Dross but it has been interesting in the last week that by his comments about Boris and cohorts feeding the Independence movement with Brexit and Power grab ammo I get the feeling that the cattleman is not only distancing himself from westminster but could possibly be looking at a split.
  6. No doubt a right back will come in handy but I have to wonder about the 'non footballing reasons' Morton announced as the cause for his release and St J willing to let him go. With a Rangers and then Celtic background..........................................................................................................................
  7. You post your opinions and argument frequently which you are entitled to, we all need an opposition in political arenas to present balance, as far as I can recollect I have red dotted you the one time for a post I personally found obnoxious. What I do find pathetic is a poster who in one go lashes out with six red dots to six different posters over a two minute period without even posting a comment. And It is immature.
  8. To that you could add another alias as Merkincher Clach and County handed out six red dots to different posters all at once on this thread yesterday and not one post, at the same time he put four greens on to obviously his union pals. Pathetic immature little people.
  9. Seems like this lad is bit of wunderkind or his agent is good at creating glowing cv's. He's welcome and I wish him well.
  10. A heartwarming assessment from a casual expert supporter of a club that has spent the last twenty years in Scotlands lowest senior football league. Charity begins at home springs to mind. Anybody know what a casual observer is??
  11. Spot on, a great Scottish Ambassador for the game which all started when his folks had a caravan up at Hopeman and he started out on the course there.
  12. Yes a positive outlook by Fleetwood plus he mentioned how much money they play for nowadays suggesting that the players shouldn't grumble because of the bad conditions. It wouldn't surprise me if he strolled it today. There are many of us who have played in winter leagues knowing full well what is was like weather wise yesterday, and we never played for a million pounds nor flew back to our Florida villas.
  13. Earlier in the year one of the Labour MSP's called for the Scottish Labour party to split from the westminster labour party and become completely separate, the reason she gave was the SL party were too subservient to the westminster leadership.
  14. Totally agree with you, consider if there were really elderly people on the tube and train she travelled on and the consequences of her action resulting in..........................................................................
  15. That wholly depends on how you determine FORCE, Nicola has asked her to resign which in my book means she is forced to vacate her position, further the police have now announced that her conduct is to be investigated, if the investigation results in a criminal conviction then by westminster rules a bye election will be called.
  16. Constituency voting in the Holyrood 2016 election SNP - 1,059.898 Con - 501,844 Lab - 514,261 Lib - 13,172 The total Constituency votes for the Con/Lab/Lib parties was 1, 029.277 That is around 30,000 votes less than the SNP received. And that is not counting the pro Independence Green Party constituency votes which obviously would push the SNP total higher. I would say that is a Majority for Independence.
  17. I agree in the main with your sentiments, but these are difficult and worrying times for many of us and I personally feel that she crossed a line knowing full well she was travelling south with symptoms and then to compound the issue she made a return journey on public transport knowing she was then diagnosed as positive. As an SNP member I feel her behaviour in endangering the health of the travelling public places her position as untenable and if she does not resign she must be removed from the party and a BE called in her constituency.
  18. In fairness, John Major was a mad shagger Aye, didn't he lose his virginty to his GILF neighbour as a boy and then fecked the biggest mouth in Parliament along the way. On the plus side he fecked off her Exalted Most Gracious Holiness Majesty when she asked for public money to repair her wee country hoose Windsor Castle which she owns and told her he would if she started paying income tax, mind you there is still no clear evidence of how much she pays. And he also had the fuckin cheek to take her boat off her which was only costing the public millions per annum for the likes of Prince Andrew to relax on after a hard years work.
  19. Having Galloway on an anti Independent Scotland platform will actually increase the yes numbers.
  20. That's not what I took out of today's FMQ's. In a reply to Blurt Davidson who asked why she had not responded to the inquiry, Nicola clearly stated that she had already submitted a written statement and she did not know why the committee had not publicly discussed said statement, she went on to say that she is willing and ready to answer any questions put to her if and when the committee asks her to come forward. With that she has made it clear that the Scottish Gov cannot interfere or make comments on a formally convened inquiry. Now I'm not defending Alex Salmond and I have mentioned on here that there was knowledge of indiscretions on his part, the Edinburgh airport lounge being one, however as I see it it obviously cannot be denied that Nicola Sturgeon was part of the inner circle but presently she is quite correct in the personal stance she has explained and the formal situation the Scottish Government must maintain. Understandably the Holyrood tory opposition want to use anything they can get their hands on to discredit their hated SNP, and this during a Covid crisis when there are far more important areas and health issues to discuss and argue which Richard Leonard in his questions today quite rightly did so. It's dirty politics from the tories but it's what we have come to expect.
  21. Over and above the Brexit vote which has given the Independence movement momentum the westminster tories have now handed us another gem with this latest ploy of theirs by passing a Brexit bill which breaks International Law and also represents a power grab on devolved governments within the uk framework. Total tory knobs, playing into our hands.
  22. Excellent, but the Eu needs to revise the title to read that the Legal Action is against The Westminster Tories.
  23. Thats typical of the way they view us Scots, and thats all Scots, including those who bleat on here about saving the so called union, the empirical/colonial arrogance of what should be a bygone age shines through. So all you Scots unionists on here need to take a long hard look at how your country is run down by these , and many more like them, pompous fools.
  24. Correct. Nairns first half defence was all over the place, defenders bunching and running at say Miles and leaving big holes at the back allowing the Caley attack to tear them apart, man marking was a shambles, their manager obviously tore them up on it at half time and the second half saw them more organised and able to break down attacks. A full time championship side would be a completely different storey, (excuse the pun).
