  1. Would like to see the regional amateur cup winners come in at some point so for example this season you would have Shortlees (West and Ayrshire), Kincorth (North), Fallin (East), Fintry Athletic (North of Tay), Lesmahagow AFC (South) and Cupar Hearts (Fife) added to the mix.
  2. Rangers and St Mirren are never in the same home or away column unless Celtic are at Paisley or vice versa.
  3. If Brechin go back up then go back down to non-league and have their wish of moving to the LL granted then I don't think they would come back up.
  4. Really hoping the HL champions win next season's pyramid play off and Forfar and Elgin don't finish last in League 2 so two of the money grabbing diddys get flushed out.
  5. Tayport however did prepare moving to the EOS if the pyramid solution had not been resolved for Tayside.
  6. There used to be Dunoon Athletic in the West Juniors.
  7. Here's another solution, transist the SOS into the WOS system by splitting the table into levels. 1st to 4th of SOS into tier 7 (WOS Division 1) 5th to 7th of SOS into tier 8 (WOS Division 2) 8th to 10th of SOS into tier 9 (WOS Division 3) 11th to 13th of SOS into tier 10 (WOS Division 4)
  8. Hawick will be tier 8 next season, the new EOS second division.
  9. At a guess I'd say Civil Service Strollers. They have been very outspoken against this last year and from having been there and spoken to a committee member, I'd be surprised if they changed their mind. Interesting to note that the clubs named so far who either voted against or abstained are ex juniors and ex SPFL.
  10. Thought the title of the thread meant the cup was being scrapped!
  11. But you need the excitement of the play-offs to keep fans interested. I would go club 42 automatically down, winners of HL and LL play off for automatic promotion, losers then play off with Club 41. Bottom of LL automatically down, EOS and WOSL play off for automatic promotion, losers then play off with second bottom of LL.
  12. If Elgin stay up which is now almost certain, Vale will go down if they finish bottom.
  13. Glenrothes Strollers recently folded. https://kingdomoffifeafa.pitchero.com/glenrothes-strollers-afc-fife-star-afc-69667
  14. This would mean relegation would have to be introduced really late into the season and I don't know if it would go down well with the bottom clubs.
  15. Assuming the ML have several new applications for next season but not enough to make a second tier ie. tier 7, would they go for a North/South split like it was last season in the ERJ?
  16. Still not mathematically certain, Hawick could still reach 26 points with both Edinburgh South and Burntisland losing all their remaning matches having already met each other twice.
  17. Is that Hawick now mathematically certain to be in the new second division next season?
  18. Royal Albert yesterday became the first club to confirm their division next season outwith the no promotion/relegation to Division 4 where they will be in the new Division 3 following their 8-0 defeat to St Cadoc's coupled with Ashfield's 3-2 victory over Dalry Thistle which means they are now 26 points behind the last possible Division 2 place through Conference B with eight games remaining. Although mostly blank right now this leaves a line up so far of. WOS Premier Division None confirmed so far WOS First Division None confirmed so far WOS Second Division None confirmed so far WOS Third Division Royal Albert WOS Fourth Division BSC Glasgow Campbeltown Pupils Finnart Glenvale Harmony Row Harthill Royal Kilsyth Athletic St Peter's
  19. Balgonie Scotia, Kinross Colts and Tollcross Thistle could be other possibilities. All decent set ups.
  20. Annan Athletic used to play in the EOS despite being in the SOS catchment area although they did keep their reserve side in the SOS.
