  1. In the last few months, I've read - Limmy's Thats Your Lot (hilarious), Elon Musk by Ashlee Vance (fascinating), Kill Your Friends by John Niven (top notch, delighted to hear he's doing a sequel), Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer (enjoyable, though the secondary plot with the grandparents was a load of shite), A Life In Parts by Bryan Cranston (interesting enough), f**k Whales by Maddox (hysterical), Battle Royale by Houshum Takami (interesting to read having been such a fan of the film for so long), Moneyball by Michael Lewis (pretty dull), The Artist Being Iniesta (not bad), Stewart Lee's book (fantastic), Ruth and Martin's Album Club (great), I Can't Belive You Just Said That by Danny Wallace (disappointing) , and currently reading Bruce Dickinson's autobiography (alright) and Poverty Safari (cracking, but hard in places).

Finally,  spent New Year on Arran reading Kerby by Graeme Johnston.  Subtitled 'Funny Tales From A  1990's Scottish Childhood', well I did laugh (final chapter) but until then it was pretty much struggling to justify the 49p I paid for it in the local charity shop. Sorry 2/10

I'll not give up the day job just yet then! :whistle

  2. He thinks the whole world is against him. I get same bus as him and he came back on after Dundee moaning he'd been chucked out, and that it was only because it was him that clubs were targeting him for special treatment.

Turned out he had been thrown out for smoking in the toilets. So nothing to do with who he is and everything to do with breaking the law.

  3. Not all from this year, but in 2017 I've read:

Limmy's Thats Your Lot, Elon Musk by Ashlee Vance, Kill your friends by John Niven, extremely loud and incredibly close by Jonathan safran foer, a life in parts by Bryan Cranston, f**k whales by Maddox, battle royale by houshum takami, moneyball by Michael Lewis, the artist being iniesta, I can't believe you just said that by Danny Wallace , Stewart Lee's book, and currently reading bruce dickinsons autobiography

Enjoyed most of them. Kill Your Friends was most recent, thought it was hilarious

  4. Rewatched the last two episodes. Incredible.

My missus was moaning about how bloody and violent episode 9 was, right up until Ramsay was locked up and she was giving it "They're going to feed him to the dogs... Yes... Feed him to the dugs! Feed him to the dugs!"

  5. I thought the same, was a great atmosphere. Killie should consider letting fans into the Moffat stand for free on the first home game of next season to try and convince some of the fairweather fans from the playoffs to come back along.

Literally any time we do a giveaway to attract fans, we lose!

I do believe we should be letting u16s across Scotland in for free. Apart from anything else it just makes good business sense. Attract some extra folk along, make a few quid out of them on pies and juice etc, then potentially have their money flowing in for 50+ years

  6. Buzzing for this.

Only reservation is that I went to the live show and thought it was brilliant, but watched it on DVD and got about a third through before putting it off. For some reason it translated to the small screen dreadfully.

That aside, Still Game has always been gold. P
