  1. Nah. Attritional zero goals over 210 minutes followed by a 2-1 victory on penalties. It's what the neutrals want.
  2. If we can't always find a slot for Kiltie, then we can't find one for McGrath. I actually think Kiltie is the better player in that (currently non existent) number 10 position.
  3. Tait is away. Probably no surprise. Great servant but best all round if he moves on.
  4. Aye, fair enough: it's definitely a heavy hint that he'll be joining us so we'll see what happens. He has mentioned so many times now how much he enjoyed his spell with us and he strikes me as the type of player that really needs to enjoy the game. Wouldn't surprise me to see Watt + Greive line up at the start of next season.
  5. I've just noticed that if you add a D to the start of Ross, and remove the O from County, you're left with Dross Cunty. I reckon the forum's going to have some fun with that. Crack on, lads!
  6. To be fair to the guy, I think he's not really involved with the Scots game and was just responding to a request to look at MO'H. He's seen the value and the £0 fee and has filled in the blanks.
  7. "Eee, they don't make Nazi propaganda jingles like they used to, do they? Who remembers this one - sing along if you know it: 'Deutschland Deutschland uber alles...'"
  8. Problem is, losing them for a fee is literally the business model. The reason we can have players like that is we've banked on being able to sell them. If we don't sell them (or at least one of them) then we'll end back with unsellable duds on one-year deals.
  9. Also, they've got to run about absolutely loads but also be in the box at exactly the right times.
  10. Definitely want Thistle winning this, for all the reasons outlined above. But also, I feel County will be more likely to extend United's spell in the Championship like they (and we) did in 2019. When all else fails, root for the outcome that delivers the most LOLs.
  11. The fact is, in Baccus, Strain, Gogic, Main and, of course, O'Hara, we've had a number of players who would have walked PotS in any number of previous years. What a time to be alive.
  12. Presumably the lad from the NI league would potentially be DM. Plus we've got Gogic.
  13. Sounds like a bit of a freak one in this instance, and looks like he's had a decent season. I always liked him; was disappointed it didn't work out but he finished his chances off with that insane red card.
  14. I hope most fans share your realism. I'm still looking at who's coming up and hoping they'll be shite, such is my general outlook. Dundee are usually a comedy outfit so that's a good start. Elsewhere, though, Motherwell have been excellent since Kettlewell took over. Aberdeen should improve. Hibs have looked like the league's 5th best side under Johnson and I'd expect that to continue. Unsure about Naismith at Hearts but can't imagine they'll implode again. Livi and the Fakes are always competitive too. Meanwhile, we have got assets that will be coveted and we absolutely have to play hard ball in the transfer market. By the same token, making money off in-contract players is literally our business plan, so I don't think anyone is 'safe' from leaving. TL;Dr - League won't be any easier next season, but I have absolute faith in the management to replace anyone that does leave.
  15. So just for clarity, if an opponent is climbing over you, you have to stand still and let him crack on? Main literally moved backwards and turned round.
  16. There is no team in Scotland diddy enough to lose a game 10-2.
  17. Cracks me up still that United could have kept Carson, and could probably have signed Gogic, and those two players would almost certainly have been the difference and kept them up.
