I counted it up earlier. Including the horrendous Championship season we have indeed won 17 games out of 152. Picked up 62 (SIXTY TWO) points from a possible 456 (FOUR HUNDRED AND FIFTY SIX) In that time I genuinely reckon I could have picked guys from Facebook who would have won more points. Shambolic.

I would imagine the playoff “semi final” would be skipped and it would just be Club 42 vs LL champions in the “final”. How does the LL work? Would they need to vote to curtail the season, and if so how many votes are required? Apologies if this has already been mentioned.

There was quite a bit of questioning going on about the Sunday 7:30pm kick off for Ross County vs Celtic on the Saturday broadcast. Richard Gordon pointed out that it was due to television rights, but the complainer (not sure who it was) spouted “when was the last time a British game kicked off at that time?” Not one of them said that all season English games have started at 7pm or 7:15pm on a Sunday this season. Instead they glossed over it and said “we used to kick off at 6pm a Sunday and they had a good atmosphere”. To which the complainer said “aye, but that’s not half seven”. How is it different from any midweek game played in Dingwall?

Queens Park have a championship quality squad from about 4-6 years ago. Full of guys who are “names” in the lower leagues but perhaps now they are beyond their best. Still good enough to win League 2 but probably not much more than that. I always liked Ray McKinnon as Brechin manager but his recruitment now seems lazy

It was probably up there with some of my favourite moments as a Brechin fan. Darren Dods had just taken over as manager and was given about a fortnight to assemble a squad after Ray McKinnon had left for Raith. Our season started as horribly and as predicted we found ourselves bottom of the league. We were looking doomed but we galvanised. It all started with a 4-0 home win against Forfar and it sent us on a run like we had not seen before. We won 8 of our last 10 games (the games we lost were against a rampant Dunfermline and away at Cowden, but we could well have won that). It just seemed like at that time we were not going down, we fought for everything and the fans got right behind it. The season culminated with us beating an already relegated Forfar, and we all enjoyed singing along with Wagner. Hopefully we can pull off similar again!
