I think the Auchinleck victory over Ayr was the best result so far achieved by a junior side against any senior team.Ayr for much of last season going for promotion to the Premiership.

You have to applaud the guys who have stuck by travelling back and forward to Cumbernauld through all this period.

It seems like Rob Roy have been out of Adamslie for a long time now.Is that 5 years?

With so many false starts about Rob Roy can anyone confirm that work has actually started on site at their new build stadium?

Unfortunately the age old problem of meaningless games was our biggest problem.With 8 league games left we had nothing to play for.I think 12 was too small so 14 might be sensible.

I think Lok had spoken to Ferns but he decided Darvel was the best option for his playing career.

I just fear Beith will be too strong all round for Rob Roy-better calibre of players and used to competing for and winning trophies.But who knows...

Lots of very valid points.Junior football is enjoyable to watch in the flesh but trying to translate that to a live tv spectacle on a large senior surface at the fag end of the season is an impossible task.We have so much live football these days that the junior game looks slow.clumsy and lacking in skill on tv-no surprise it is broadcast on a minority tv channel and I wonder what kind of viewing figures it got.

I have seen Linlithgow play about 90 different teams and Largs have by far the worst supporters of any of them. Delighted to see them get beat. Haven’t had any issues with Largs fans from memory-far worse than them in Ayrshire.Was it a specific incident?

On to next season.Very well done Auchinleck on another superb season setting the standard we all need to target.Great guys in Henry,Morton,Davie Loy and others too who are gents no matter the score and set the standard for Auchinleck.

It’s always the danger-clubs with no or limited success taking on an investor who donates very large lump sums.Possible short term wins but over the years many fail eg Kilwinning,Maryhill,Meadow,Johnstone Burgh etc.Its tempting but has caused issues for many too

Lie were poor and KR ok but poor game and neither are good enough to go up.Sad as I miss the Lok Lie derbies.

Good player-always a tough guy to face whenever we played.Just a shame he never progressed beyond QP in the seniors.

What was the crowd last year at the final?

I think Kilbirnie will survive and Renfrew will go.Like the Renfrew guys and hope that isn’t the case but can’t see them staying up
