After being beaten down by a disastrous two years as a Killie fan, all of this just sounds like the most ominous of backdrops. Cannot afford another slip up at home, particularly with Arbroath enduring two potentially tricky aways now. Ideally we link well middle to front and offer big Lafferty a bit more support than he had against the wee Fifers. It's a strange thing to say about a very new signing - but without Ash Taylor I'm not confident of us keeping a clean sheet against anyone. We'll need at least two today.

Feel like this might be a banana skin for Arbroath today despite the relative quality of both sides - weird things can happen in new managers' first games.

There's a couple of sad old guys on the Killie boards who occasionally feel the need to hint at past casual behaviour. Astonishing how quickly life has moved past these types.

Switch "Hibs" for "Kilmarnock" and you have exactly my thoughts. It honestly feels like Scottish football has a "club break" for me this weather.

Presume you're referring to "wily old Dick Campbell"? In terms of the game, I'm absolutely buzzing for it. Easily our biggest game of the season so far, and against some really tough opposition on their own patch. Conditions not looking exactly conducive to high quality football, but the tension and occasion will still be unaffected. Really hoping Kilmarnock can somehow come out with the odd goal here, a win would be huge.

Cannot wait for this game now, absolutely the biggest of our season so far. With ICT now on abysmal form, and RR dropping points again last night in the middle of a homemade shitstorm you've got to think a win for either side will secure top 3 at least. Could even be a huge step towards the title.

I'm so excited about this game tomorrow. I really fancy us to come out with the same intensity as last week, and with enough commitment to winning individual physical battles (where the RP game was lost early in the season) we'll hopefully have enough quality up top to take a couple of chances. Next two games absolutely fucking season defining.

That definitely has the similar feel to Killie 0-3 Hibs in 2017. Totally different energy and enthusiasm to what we've seen all season, I'm feeling very buoyant in defeat tonight.

Hopefully the home team can make up the Ayrshire contingent in the next round along with us and Darvel!
