  1. Aye, definitely got away with one there. I honestly don't feel like we won a second ball in the whole game, and the penalty we do get is fairly fortunate IMO. Still in a good position. If Partick can do us a favour tomorrow evening better. Morton looking absolutely brilliant btw. Dougie Imrie turning out to be an excellent football manager is a plot twist I don't think many of us were expecting.
  2. Abysmal patter. When Morton win away you're quoting the score as 1-2?! Geez peace.
  3. News reports seem to say he announced yesterday that this would be his last game.
  4. Don't really know the context here, but always a popular message. Have a Charles.
  5. So he did, I remember seeing his name on the teamsheet now, what a fail. I'm in the FB stand, so he was on my side in the second half - closest I can offer to an excuse.
  6. Another one crossed off for us, although more nervy than it should have been. Feel like we could really have tightened the screw at the beginning of the second half when PT really dropped off in their intensity and a fucking woeful Stephen Hendrie was brought on. Nevertheless, it's now 4 points in a two horse race with 2nd to play at home. Very strong position, and hopefully we take a big support to Greenock on Friday night to really ramp up the pressure on my Arbroath. Any Partick fans feel like giving me a lowdown on Kyle Turner? Not one I've really noticed this season but thought he had a few moments of really outstanding skill.
  7. I'm starting to worry that all this bad news for Partick is actually an ominous development for Killie...
  8. I think that away stand was in the shade. I remember going to see a dismal game (BBC refers to it below as a "tepid affair" at Love Street, where Killie lost 1-0 to a late goal. Anyway, beautiful summer afternoon.....absolutely shivering inside the ground. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/scot_prem/7379013.stm
  9. Nah, comfortable home win for the Pluckies this weekend. I'm not even going to check the score, we beat Partick and I'll just presume the gap is still 2 points next week.
  10. Don't feel bad about it...... craigkillie posted a link to his Ph.D thesis........... "Theoretical and Empirical Study into the Effects of Maximum Heating Combined with Window Ventilation on the Modern Internal Combustion Engine"
  11. Good suggestion. I've seen The Seagull and Dracula at the Conservatoire among other things, as you say its interesting to see the next generation of acting talent. Might check that out.
  12. I really enjoy going to the theatre - although like most other things I've really let it slip in the last couple of years. Used to go to quite a few things at the Citizens before the refurbishment, but since it moved to Tramway I've only been to see one of the Christmas shows and a production of The Doll's House. Went to see Les Miserables at the Theatre Royal last year, just to see what all the fuss had been about more than anything, enjoyed it far more than I imagined. Another highlight from last year was a one man show by Grayson Perry at the same venue - Mrs E got the tickets for my birthday last year. Nothing upcoming though, if anyone's got any recommendations I'm all ears.
  13. Ayr United looking likely to join the relegation playoff battle in the next couple of weeks now Mental to think there's almost as much between the big 2 and the rest, as there is between the while of the bottom half.
  14. Melanie Sykes opened the Kilmarnock Odeon, c.1998.
  15. Falkirk's last goal in the Championship was scored by Kevin McAllister*. True story. *Not Home Alone, there was an enormous crowd there.
