  1. Well aye, as I wrote that I realised that the lower league output changed around the time Rangers went down - so that it became Rangers/Hearts/Hibs/Utd driven. One of the best I've heard this season was when they did an hour's focus on the Highland Derby - they were at a school up north as I recall? It's dull hearing about the same clubs all the time.
  2. Just listened to that in the office, and I thought it was excellent. They used to do one night a week of the rest of the leagues, I think Des McKeown was a regular contributor and I always enjoyed it - but their lower league output seemed to totally disappear. Maybe they've been spurred into action by the reception that the Terrace boys have enjoyed?
  3. Not really a comeback tbthwy, just remarking on how unashamedly unresearched your view was.
  4. Big difference between playing a competitive match on an artificial pitch and training on it. In what respect? What are the main differences, and how do they relate to injuries disproportionately sustained on artificial surfaces? ETA - Please don't think I'm having a go at you, I'm honestly not. I'm totally fed up of this debate being conducted along non-medical, non-statistical lines - if you've found something I've missed I'd be interested to see it.
  5. Ian McCall saying he doesn't EVER allow Jamie Adams to play on artificial surfaces because of the effect that it has on his joints... ...seconds before he states that he trains on astro once a week. No challenge from the rest of the panel.
  6. Based on what though? I'm completely bewildered by this accusation.
  7. I don't think you can substantiate this.
  8. I'm not taking a sideways glance at it. You're first paragraph was refreshingly honest, but your lack of talent doesn't entitle you to be infuriated at others' inability to deliver on their own. Certainly I'd say it's closer to the generalmood than @RandomGuy.'s left field anecdote about a drink driving offence, and one occasion when he had the audacity to wind up our poor, darling Celtic supporters...
  9. So it's residual bitterness at your own shortcomings? Nice.
  10. I've no idea why this guy has inspired the kind of vitriol and schadenfreude you've seen over these pages. "Young kid fails to make it as a professional footballer" will read the headline. So what?
  11. This is...ehh...this is a bit uncomfortable...
  12. I read on facebook that you should volley yer maw in the pie.
  13. As an 18 year old I shredded a pair of ordinary jeans to achieve this very look in 2003. It was only after heading out one night, thinking I looked the absolute ticket, that I realised I'd made one of the cuts too high and there was a very visible, and not inconsiderably sized, band of patterned boxers on show. The shame lives on.
  14. Richard Gordon was remarking on their research with an air of surprise yesterday. Obviously as it's a foreign concept to his band of cronies.
  15. Continuing to dog whistle even when pulled on it and indignantly refuting it. Interesting . His surname is Clarke. I'm sure this won't happen again.
  16. Seriously worried that it looks like St Mirren have #turnedthecorner. I'm really not sure how the league will cope without a big club like Dundee. Good luck dees.
  17. Ironic that you should use the platform of a failed fishing trip to announce this infatuation. Flattered nonetheless xx
