Peter Hartley that night was quite something. Thought he might retire at half time.
I text my pal on the walk up to the stadium saying the Hartley/Mugabi partnership was giving me the absolute fear and I'd probably say I've never been more correct about anything in my life.

I quite liked Hylton. The fact we binned him but kept Seedorf is still a mystery.
The bold Sherwin still doesn't have a club since he left us.

Most similar Motherwell striker is apparently Connor Sammon in 18/19

Oppenheimer. Just left me profoundly sad. Can’t really express why. Just in awe.
Aye. Went to the IMAX at Silverburn last night for it. Visually spectacular and really well paced. But for sure when the credits started rolling I just felt really, really sad.
The cast is so unbelievably stacked as well. Shout out your man from Drake & Josh rising to the occasion and being the guy on the big red button.

I'm sure I read somewhere that they helped to fund our walking football teams trip to Newcastle for a tourney.
We should have got Newcastle to pay us £5 million for the privilege.

Are we ruling out a return for Furlong? Would still imagine we'd look to bring him back on loan if Brighton haven't met their loan quota. Maybe one for later in the window?
If we are going to get him back on loan it'll be very much last minute. They're only allowed 4 loans out I'm sure and they'll not want to use one of those so early in the window while they decide what they're doing with the squad.

Sadly I think to add any quality we need to clear out the dreck first. We've been burning money like the K-Foundation in the past year on shite transfers, shiter contract extensions and even shiter managerial appointments.

The best bit about players leaving to go to other leagues from all over the shop are the wild signing videos.

Shields officially gone there. Solid business. Cut Throat Ketts strikes again.

Spoiler, it does not sound a thriller.
I'm mainly taken aback by the number of ads on that page.
Content wise it sounds like a snoozefest.

Similarly, I was starting to come round to Efford when he got injured. Looking back though it’s hard to remember if he was actually good, or my memory inflating him to good compared to how shite we were. On this basis I’d have liked to see him get some more game time to confirm it was the former. However, given his career to date he clearly has faith in himself (I’m basing this on his wiki page saying he gave up a college scholarship to play in Europe) and isn’t scared to make a move to new places, so if he feels he isn’t in Kettlewell’s plans I wouldn’t be surprised if he was pushing a move.
The game he was really good in was away at County. However that might distort things because they were really, really, really shite that night. He definitely had found a wee bit of form but I am hesitant to put too much on that as prior to that he wasn't really that good.

I don't like not having wingers. They're the best kind of player.
Mercurial wingers are my second favourite type of player after big weirdo centre forwards.

It's a low risk loan really. He's got another year after he comes back so we've got a buffer.
Best case: he does really well, bulks up a bit and comes back an improved option.
Worst case: he doesn't do well, proves to be a bust and we can look at emptying him this time next year.
Cut Throat Ketts takes no shit.

Have felt for a while he won't make it with us.
He's simply too lightweight to make it in this league, IMO. He's not quick or strong enough.
Aye. It's a bit of a yer da take but he's too wee and he doesn't seem to be technically good enough to compensate for it.

Well...
I mean he's barely kicking a ball for us so it probably makes sense to chuck him into a meat grinder of a league to see if he sinks or swims.

I guess the A-League is just as bad as it was the last time I checked in with it, around 10 years ago.
I've watched a few A-league games and none of them have been boring. Jason Cummings being their star striker and Mark Birighitti being their star goalkeeper in recent years probably tells you all you need to know.

The biggest question mark for me after yesterday is Tierney. He is the only player that hasn't had any game time so far and surely needs minutes. Need to get him out on loan if we ain't going to use him
He's probably knackered with all the procreating he's been doing tbf.

McGinley getting booed onto the park was a bit shite. He's fought his way back from whatever is was that was wrong with him and it'll be good if he can get his career back on track.
Not for Motherwell, like. Some other c***s can sign him.

Big Casey might have been a bit rusty yesterday but him at 50% is a better option than anything Lamie or Mugabi can offer.

Or transfers are far more complicated, and take longer, than people think?
I pay my 10 quid a month to the 'Well Society therefore I must be informed whenever anyone at the club does so much as go for a shite.
Honestly not even that much of an exaggeration of certain elements of our support.

That Belgium road race squad is cracked beyond belief. Got to imagine the only issue is managing a whole load of guys who could all feasibly win it in whatever way the race comes down to.
MVDP and van Baarle for the Netherlands are also absolute hitters.
If it's anything like the Commonwealth road race it'll be attritional and will be won by whoever is the hardest b*****d on the road that day.
