  1. The Record also reporting that Hamilton have made an approach to get Andy Halliday, is their chairman just writing the stories himself?
  2. It’s still 9 points, they’ve got a game in hand away at Stirling
  3. https://www.falkirkherald.co.uk/sport/football/falkirk-boss-john-mcglynn-on-taking-the-blame-for-edinburgh-city-draw-making-five-half-time-subs-and-getting-out-of-jail-4477416
  4. Hamilton now down to ten men. This should be the day we’re putting our foot on their throats
  5. Allen, Oliver, Agyeman, Ross, McGinn and Mackie are miles off match fitness. They can’t all come into the team at the same time. Why change the shape, the defence looks all over the place and midfield is non-existent
  6. McGlynn has mentioned a few niggles and freshening things up. Mciver is out according to the FH and McGinn likely to start. Will be interesting to see how quickly the replacements get up to speed. The loans brought in by Edinburgh all look very young
  7. I think we might see a few changes on Saturday. Both centre halves took a few knocks last night and McIver had a tight hammy. Bisland, Mackie and Shanley could well get a start
  8. We were absolutely brilliant tonight, every single one of them. Except Sam Long who had f**k all to do
  9. Tom Lang’s dad referring to Falkirk as “us” during the game today, love it
  10. Nesbitt was absolutely terrific today, didn’t think I’d ever say that! Could’ve had a few more goals with a better final ball but does it really matter, just need to keep this run going. It’s noticeable that the crowd stayed with the team when it was 0-0, the ultras keep the atmosphere going and overall we ground out a win. Continually looking forward to the next game is a strange feeling
  11. I had the same conversation about Allan the other day, I think he’d score goals if he played regularly. Loaning him to someone else in our league could improve them without being able to play against us. He would make a difference to every team below Cove. Shanley puts him further down our pecking order
  12. Terrific stuff on a horrible day. Calvin Miller was unplayable, 1 goal and 3 assists. Good to see some fringe players getting minutes under their belt. As for the boy behind me who started moaning about sideways passes at 5-0 up, just stay in the house and find something else to do
  13. Seems to be turning to rain and clearing now, can’t see any major issues with the game being on
  14. I would’ve thought it would be somebody like Mackie who was more likely to look for a loan move, he can’t get back into the team however was seen to be a player capable of playing at a higher level. It was considered a coup getting him to sign so I suspect he’ll be on a decent wage. If we could get a cheap backup for McCann then it might suit everyone
  15. Mahon has looked decent against us but is on loan from Motherwell. We are well covered in his position, I don’t think they would loan him to us unless he was guaranteed a game
  16. I hated this whole team at Airdrie, didn’t want the manager or players to stay, I was done with it. This season has restored my faith in the whole place, manager, players and fans. What am atmosphere today. Lang and Donaldson were brilliant today. The work rate from the front three was brilliant, ran themselves into the ground and pounced on every opportunity. I hope everything continues and we can help push the team on to promotion
  17. I hope McGlynn picks the same team as last week, no point rushing Spencer back when the team played so well last week. I understand the Queens fans concerns about their home form but this always seems to be a tough fixture for Falkirk
  18. We’ve been unbelievable and they’ve been unbelievably bad
  19. I was in line with the challenge, Finn was never winning the header but chased after it anyway. He jumped for the header but looked like he hit the defenders shoulder. The defender was already up and winning it. Finn took a couple of head knocks in the game, I was surprised he wasn’t taken off earlier
  20. The Spencer one was given for the handball even before the sliding challenge made contact with him. The Montrose penalty looked a good yard outside the box but Long would’ve had to go so probably did us a favour in the long run.
  21. Had to leave sharp as I had to pick up the kids. Got to the doors at the bottom Of the stand and heard the roar. Absolute gutter, rarely leave early and didn’t want to today! I thought we were decent without being great today. Montrose with their usual spoiling time wasting tactics. Great resilience and spirit to get the win. Don’t want to say it but we all what happens when teams grind out ugly wins. interesting to see that lazy wage thief Williamson can now play 90mins at least once a week without breaking into bits.
  22. Good result, especially with changes to the team
  23. Great to hear the positivity. Kirkland is the ref though, I’m waiting for the Ayr penalty and a Falkirk red card
  24. Didn’t go up today. I know the rage against Mackay and I completely agree however it sounds like we really should’ve won that. MacIver hitting the woodwork twice, a shambolic penalty against us and a defensive disaster. That’s probably not a bad point
