  1. Looking forward to this much more than today’s game. Good to see Ayr fans are well over McCall and totally not bothered he left them.
  2. First half was as one-sided a game as I can remember seeing this season without us having a really meaningful effort on goal. Rankin made some clever substitutions at half-time and Accies were a completely different force. As the game went on Accies looked the more likely to score the second goal of the game. We were absolutely pitiful. I suspect that our finances will prevent us from doing so, but this would ordinarily be the perfect time to empty the charlatan that is McCall and his two hapless, full-time assistants. We’re not going up and we’re not going to go down, so in theory we could use the next 3-4 months planning for next season and where we want to be as a club long-term. Someone like Brian Graham taking the manager’s position on an interim basis. We had a really decent chance of doing something this season and McCall has completely wasted it. Accies fans must be feeling a lot better about their chances of staying up now, especially with Cove in free fall. In the 3 times I’ve watched you this season, you are far from the worst team in this league.
  3. As much as it would be fun to laugh at Jim Goodwin and their crank, Tory Chairman, I really hope Aberdeen humiliate this mob tonight. These silly wee “ambitious” clubs shouldn’t be given any encouragement. Ayrshire Los Pollos Hermanos 0-6 Aberdeen
  4. Expecting a tough game against a side who are used to winning, but hoping our strong home form will be enough to see us through. As an aside, we seem to meet each other in the cup quite a lot. Off the top of my head I can think of: - Late 90s Dunfermline beat us at Firhill. - Early 2000s Pars win Quarter Final at Firhill. - Stephen Simmons game at EEP in 2008 ish. - Liam Buchanan winner at Firhill for us in 2007. - Dunfermline 1-0 at Firhill in 2012. - Thistle win 1-0 at Firhill in 2022.
  5. The Morton forum makes for some really delicious reading this afternoon. Our very own Toby’s contribution being a particular highlight. Know your place Greenock Morton.
  6. - Last gasp winner - Douglas Imrie headsgone - Morton’s shitty wee support sent back to their favelas with nothing
  7. I must have missed most of the seething comments. Most people I know couldn’t care less about QP.
  8. I don’t think that’s something we’ll need to worry about.
  9. Thoroughly enjoyed everything about that tonight. Strange seeing Inverness in crisis mode. Off the top of my head, the worst thing that has happened to them has been relegation from the top flight. Normally a consistent and competently run football club.
  10. Behave. It was a piece of individual brilliance. Ayr fans on Twitter seem absolutely distraught, which is nice. Ho Ho Ho. Good Tidings.
  11. We were really ropey up until we equalised but Ayr couldn’t complain if it was 4 or 5-1 at half-time.
  12. David Brent apologising to Tim for the prank in The Office levels of sincerity from Cowan. Would expect nothing less of the clown.
  13. Good to hear that the game will most likely go ahead. Ayr were already robbed of a bumper crowd from this fixture after the farcical postponement of the game at Somerset.
  14. Grateful for their ten minutes of Thistle coverage, but the rest was just the usual grim, OF orientated pish.
  15. Eliminate both teams and just get on with the draw.
