Started Sunday’s episode this afternoon. Lasted less than 10 minutes when it became clear it was another sickly Celtic love-in with yet another Celtic-supporting guest. Dreadful.

Pretty much the perfect away performance from us. We look much more assured and rigid under Doolan. Having watched the last 3 games, I’ve never felt overly concerned for any prolonged period of time during a game. We’re far from brilliant, but great to see Doolan getting a tune out of McCall’s squad straight away. 7/9 from three away games is some going. Dundee were seriously rotten but I thoroughly enjoyed the Derry seethe which was loud and over the top throughout.

Some amount of pant-wetting on social media but it’s the correct decision even if the timing is unexpected. Two league seasons virtually written-off by clear underachievement. I’m gutted it didn’t work out for him and he’s at least restored some credibility to our club, but he’s clearly taken us as far as he can.
