  1. Suppose a well done is in order lads. See you next season xx
  2. A team whose line is led by Kevin O'Hara in the Championship is giving me greater cause for comfort, tbh.
  3. Ridgers must be a contender for the worst full-time keeper in the country. I think every time I’ve ever watched him, he’s chucked one in. Bogging.
  4. Massive congrats to Stranraer, absolutely buzzing for everyone. A proper football club. A great result. Get it so far up Mick Kennedy, ‘Si’ Ferry and the soldiers of love. Last thing we needed was another bankrolled leisure centre club. STAY DOON.
  5. Kind of my opinion on it. There’s a few who will moan when we’re 5-0 up and pass the ball backwards, which really pisses me off - more so than someone getting angry in the heat of the moment at some shite defending for an Annan equaliser. It’s an emotive game and sometimes it gets the better of us. It’s the people who show up every week intent on being negative who do my tits in.
  6. 2300 by the third week in May is unbelievable stuff. Scottish football needs a strong Falkirk.
  7. Brad McKay being away is a cause for celebration. 3 years in the making.
  8. Don’t lose hope yet! Standard formality to say their loans have expired.
  9. I might be talking pish (likely am) but isn’t McKenna more a midfielder than a striker?
  10. I’d have said Inverness would be favourites going into the second leg, as I think Accies are a bit dung led by a diddy, but from what I’ve seen tonight ICT are also dung and led by a diddy. Tough one to call.
  11. Any Championship side losing to a team whose line is led by Kevin O’Hara probably deserves to get relegated, in all honesty.
  12. ICT look absolutely humpty. Some effort to make Hamilton look this decent but they’re somehow managing.
  13. Probably jumped at the chance of not having to spend every second Saturday in Greenock, too.
  14. I think it’s why it’s difficult to judge at this moment, with it only being May too. McGlynn made the point that Calvin Miller wasn’t initially on his radar and he only jumped when he became unexpectedly available. I’m sure McGlynn has set targets in mind, but you never know who might pop up in the next couple of months who he might jump at who would get into the starting XI - in any position.
  15. He did have a good season and I think he will start next season as our starting striker. But I do also agree with others that I think we should be looking to bring someone in who can compete with him/possibly displace him if needs be. Striker was arguably the only place we didn't have really strong competition for places last season - Allan wasn't a patch on him and while I think Shanley was a far better option than Allan, I don't think any of us at any point seriously thought he was going to displace MacIver. If he was to get injured or not do as well as we would hope a level above, I think we need another Championship level option there.
  16. Yeah tbf when I’m thinking of squad numbers I’m just kind of assuming Allan will be away.
  17. Eh, happy enough with that. Can cover at left and centre-back and is a physical player which will be useful in the Championship. Pretty good business so far with the only one I have a bit of dubiety over being Oliver. Get the 2 or 3 new faces in and we’re shaping up quite nicely.
  18. Cba commenting on individual posts/posters but there are some proper weird responses on here when someone has the gall to debate squad complexion or say "hmm i dunno if i'd keep that player" or something similar . It often gets interpreted as some kind of personal attack on the manager, the player or the club. I'd say 95% of folk on here are decent posters - we've all had good and terrible takes, often in equal measure. Bringing up things folk may have got wrong like a year ago or holding it against them in a club forum is strange patter. It's not that deep. It's such a positive, uniting time now. Just debate away and we'll see what happens.
  19. As long as Tait goes to the Hibs training ground and expresses his support for women, the LGBT community and racial minorities, he should be released quickly enough.
