  1. As far as I understand, David Dimbleby has a soft spot for him and he's entirely in control when it comes to choosing panel members, audience members and vetting questions. You're rarely going to get any reasonable debate when a controversial panelist comes on the show, as you can bet your life they'll be audience members who came with the "I'm going to stick it to them" mentality. It's a problem with religion in general where people start to put beliefs before facts.
  2. I thought it was fivers that were banned, and what about those green bath ducks? There is no question we get treated very badly by the media in this country, and it probably won't change until these outlets go bust. They still want to believe that things are still the 90's and early 00's.
  3. They are neo-Thatcherites. BNP are more like National Front.
  4. I don't think he's ready to be called up yet. Maybe during the start of the next campaign, or do a Theo Walcott and bring him along to the Euro's (if we make it), but don't play him.
  5. Some of the things she comes out with concerns me. At times she can come across as a feminazi.
  6. Sale and leaseback I'm pretty sure was always going to be the end game, and when the scenario arises. They'll be fucked for years to come
  7. That was terrifying hearing that wind and rain outside last night. That must of been hurricane force winds. I bet it was a lot worse for the folks living on the west coast.
  8. And he would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for those meddling bankers Ashley wants the parts which are profitable, such as naming and merchandising rights. The last thing he wants is to run the club itself.
  9. Looks like the players are jumping the ship. It's Titantic all over again He shown some talent, but he's untested at any meaningful level. The reason the fee is low, is because your club is in no position to price gouge.
  10. I'm generally against having ex players managing the team. This isn't just because of people like Daizel. It's based on what I've seen throughout the footballing world.
  11. Unless he's in the Champions League, then he's not really getting much exposure. Think of the money he would have to spend in order to win the league. When the league is won, he then has to go through qualifying. Which as Celtic have proved, is far from being a certainty. On the bright side once he gets into the CL, we'll all get to laugh at them getting papped out. I still think whatever his long term plan is. It won't work out for him in the end.
  12. I still don't get what's in this for Ashley in the long run. I know he's been wanting out of Newcastle for a long time, but there is far more money to be made out of that club than Zombie FC. If he thinks things will be less stressful in Scottish football, then he's got another thing coming. You only have to look at the pish Minty had to put up with during the latter half of his tenure.
  13. While I respect Brand's concerns on issues. All he does is create villains. Doesn't see where the problems stem from and thus doesn't actually offer any solutions. Other than targeting people, which ironically will just make the problem even worse in the long run. Even if immigration was the problem, it's not the immigrants themselves people should be blaming. It's the people who let them in they should be blaming. Yelling "racist" against anyone who has concerns over immigration says more about the accuser, than the accused. The real problem is the unhealthy gap between rich and poor. A problem which is largely caused by laws and systems which are designed to protect and expand wealth of the super wealthy at the expense of everyone else. The audience does seem rigged when I watch most shows. There is definitely a liberal hate filled bias coming from a disproportionate amount of audience members based on the shows I've seen.
  14. I often criticize people for not knowing the difference between a right and an entitlement. However, it appears the people who wrote that document don't know what either are.
  15. Typical non-story from that shite rag. No evidence whatsoever to support that story. Just because a company is losing money hand over fist, doesn't mean you can't personally make money out of it. So long as you don't care about the long term profitability of it. That is of course assuming the company is capable of generating a lot of revenue. Especially with some short term maneuvers . The likelihood is Chuckie didn't care, and was just trying to front load it. After all, he did draft out obscene contracts during his time at Sheffield Utd. To the point where their top player Dean Saunders tried to help them out, by suggesting he should only be on a one year deal. Due to the fact it may put the club under financial hardship if they failed to get promoted.
  16. I must admit, it always pissed me off how their rise was somehow "a fairytale","punching above their weight" and "astonishing rise". When the reality was much more obvious and sinister.
  17. Blaming the victims, and turning a blind eye to the bully, how swell.
  18. No, they don't want an end to Jews living in Palestine. They want an end to occupation and the right of return. Also, the fact you ignored my last question is very telling. Your silence said it all.
  19. Where and why did exactly Hamas come about? Regardless, Israel has being doing the same thing to Palestinians long before they existed. Hamas offered Israel a 10 year ceasefire during the latest conflict. Yet Israel rejected that. What does that say about Israel?
  20. They're is legitimate criticisms for UKIP, but you're barking up the wrong tree if you use the analogy of them being some far right Nazi worshiping xenophobes. Doing so is only going to make you look like some libtard. What you should be doing is associating them with hard line Thatcherites.
  21. Just like people who excuse acts of Israeli committed genocide and aggression.
