    Word of warning. On the day do not visit relatives unless you know their views on the monarchy first. My Dad despised the Royal Family. For one of the weddings, he took me in the car over to the West Coast to avoid the whole thing. However when we got there, they said "Oh, you are just in time" and sat us in front of the tv to watch the bloody thing. Total silence on the drive back home.

    During the lockdown, the Queen was seen be doing the right thing, sitting on her own during her husband's funeral and she was applauded for it. Charles should do likewise. There is a cost of living crisis going. This whole coronation thing should be scaled back. I suggest he goes along to the local registrar's office, fills in the appropriate forms and then goes quietly back to the palace. Don't make a scene of it.

    If I have a meal that includes fake lamb, then I would probably want to try real lamb the next day just to check if they are right. Personally I prefer vegetarian food that is not pretending to be something else. For example, Brussels sprouts(halved and seared) with cottage cheese, pomegranate seeds and crushed pistachio nuts is very nice.
