    Fash is really coming onto a game. He is now fully fit, so we are getting 90 minutes out of him. I thought Chris Johnston was a great signing for you, but he looked a bit off the pace yesterday. Perhaps I am being a bit unkind to our midfield, who kept him quiet.

    It wasn't pretty at times, but when we successfully defended about six corners towards the end of the first half I thought we could win it. The second half was more open. Not a classic game, but one that needed to be ground out. Loads of candidates for motm, but Liam Newton seems to be progressing week on week. Just happy to be coming back up the road with three points.

    Just minded this one. I met the guy who photographed the iconic Beatles Abbey Road LP cover. Sadly it was in Roxburgh House hospice in Dundee. He was a lovely guy. The reason Paul was in bare feet was that it was roasting hot that day. So there you go.

    This reminds me of how many times I have been tragically derailed on holiday food wise. Went to Naples and didn't buy a pizza. Went to Sicily and didn't try their ice cream in a bun thing. I'll probably fail to have a sausage and pilsner in Germany in June.

    Reminds me of a game at Glebe Park when they had an American reading out the half-time scores for some reason. It was torturous and hilarious in equal measures. Towards the end of his efforts he drawled to the supporters "Jeez folks, give a guy a break"

    I think we were unlucky today, but fitba is littered with hard luck stories. We switched off at the back when the referee was ready to blow for full time. Lessons to hopefully be learned. For the most part, we were good this afternoon though. Millar, Trouten, McManus, Page, Newton and Austin very good.
