  1. Morning Larky Is there anything on a official Larkahll channel to support this, twitter/facebook etc... On here, as I'm sure you know, its just gossip until we see something official
  2. I have to laugh at the legal action. there would be no means of foundation to take them to court. The WOSFL can have a top division of 5 if they wanted, no one could do anything about it, except the SFA if it's in the rules. Darvel were part of the Junior league, they left to join the Lowland league under the WOSFL. New laws, new governance, new rules. They, as in Darvel including all member clubs are told that they will be able to pick who they want to run the league the following season and the Lowland will cover it the first season. So what legal action can be taken. It's common sense any teams who leaves Association to join a New Association will have to follow their rules, even if they don't like it. What is hard for you or anyone else to understand on that matter, its just common sense
  3. Not sure your getting what I mean, apologies if its not been conveyed the way I had hoped, my bad When you join a new association you join their rules an regulations and what happened to your team in the past has nothing to do with the new association, so they can add you where they see fit. The Lowland league, South of Scotland, East of Scotland have nothing to do with the way the Juniors run their leagues, absolutely nothing. The LL if they wanted could just say, every team that's starts with the letter A, B and C will go in at tier 6 if they wanted, obviously there would be aa big kick up but still its their association so they run it how they see fit and make sure it stays within the SFA guidelines. The LL was told by SFA that they cannot have conferences in tier 6 so after consultation with all the WOS members they decided on a 20 team division to save, what they thought was the least hassle
  4. Have to admit Pyramidic, The Forth Wanderers one was pulled out of the bag and not heard a peep that they would be starting a team, well done them Application Deadline Day is close by, 15th June, (thanks Burnieman) To be honest when I first listed the teams I was thinking if they get to maybe 5 or 6 teams from the West with the current 5 west teams then maybe they could make up a regional West and then an East regionalised and that would be great but in all honestly to get 24 teams officially state they are applying to join the Lowland U20 League with their U20 team is absolutely fantastic and think the Lowland league will just grow form strength to strength LATEST UPDATE 8/0620 Have confirmed Officially that they have or are applying or operated an Under 20s team in season 19/20. Nothing is guaranteed until after June the 15th deadline for applications. The only real problem teams will have is having the right criteria for their home parks Dunipace have an U20s confirmed but admittedly unsure at the moment for WOS or EOS Cumbernauld Colts (Participated in the U20 development league 2019/20) Braves / Edusport (Participated in the U20 development league 2019/20) BSC (Participated in the U20 development league 2019/20) Bonnyton Thistle (Participated in the U20 development league 2019/20) Mid Annandale (Participated in the U20 development league 2019/20) Bellshill New to U20s Development CONFIRMED Clydebank New to U20s Development CONFIRMED Shettleston New to U20s Development CONFIRMED (twitter.com/shettleston20s/status/1265313125798207493) Troon FC New to U20s Development CONFIRMED ( twitter.com/TroonFCYA/status/1257986731405705218 ) Vale of Leven New to U20s Development CONFIRMED (twitter.com/valeofleven21s/status/1262858612193591303) Rossvale New to U20s Development CONFIRMED (twitter.com/RossvaleFCU20s/status/1264648795725484034) East Kilbride FC New to U20s Development CONFIRMED (twitter.com/EKFC20s/status/1263185047915507715) Carluke Rovers FC New to U20s Development CONFIRMED (twitter.com/Carlukeroversfc/status/1263533238074707968 Darvel FC New to U20s Development CONFIRMED ( twitter.com/darvelfc/status/1263522036506406915/photo/1 ) St Cadocs YC New to U20s Development CONFIRMED (mobile.twitter.com/StCadocsYC/status/1263924087228960771 ) Whitletts Victoria Fc New to U20s Development CONFIRMED (twitter.com/wvfc_official/status/1265697863281016835) Maryhill FC New to U20s Development CONFIRMED (twitter.com/Maryhill_FC/status/1265317242054627329) St Rochs FC New to U20s Development CONFIRMED (twitter.com/StRochsJuniors/status/1264645421667942402) Johnstone Burgh Fc New to U20s Development CONFIRMED (twitter.com/johnstone_burgh/status/1264267990243123201) Newmains United Fc New to U20s Development CONFIRMED (twitter.com/NewmainsUtdFC/status/1265736408813142017) Gartcairn FC New to U20s Development CONFIRMED (twitter.com/GartcairnFA/status/1263735383931699200 ) Arthurlie FC New to U20s Development CONFIRMED (twitter.com/barrheadyouthfc/status/1265360661225312257 ) Irvine Meadow FC New to U20s Development CONFIRMED (twitter.com/Medda1897/status/1267779318710784006 ) Kirkintilloch Rob Roy FC New to U20s Development CONFIRMED (twitter.com/robroy1878/status/1268136921726947328 ) Neilston FC New to U20s Development CONFIRMED (twitter.com/NeilstonFC/status/1268500332482609157 ) Yoker Athletic FC New to U20s Development CONFIRMED (twitter.com/YokerAthleticFC/status/1268887449754832896 ) Beith FC New to U20s Development CONFIRMED (twitter.com/BeithJuniorsFC/status/1269300072757501954 ) St Antonys FC New to U20s Development CONFIRMED (twitter.com//SaintAnthonysFC/status/1269252881703669761 ) Kilwinning Rangers FC New to U20s Development CONFIRMED (kilwinningrangers.com/its-a-new-dawn-its-a-new-day-u20s-development-team/ ) Forth Wanderers FC New to U20s Development CONFIRMED (twitter.com/ForthWanderers/status/1270778050318344192 ) Renfrew FC New to U20s Development CONFIRMED (facebook.com/RenfrewFC/photos/a.713490295370295/3269357159783583/?type=3&theater ) POSSIBLY; Teams who have applied are listed above. So at this moment we have 30 teams, (31 if counting Dunipace) from the West side and with an impressive, excellent East side of over 30 teams, the Lowland U20s Development League looks as if is growing from strength to strength) The list below is of teams who have expressed an interest but nothing has been made official Pollok (heard they have their U20 management in place and just one obstacle to get over and they will apply) Largs Thistle (informed unofficially that they will be applying to join the U20 league) Cumbernauld, Auchinleck, Rutherglen Glencairn and Cumnock are looking into it but think it looks like 21/22 when they are ready
  5. Thanks for clearing that up Fairweather So all in all, the Lowland league had to put forward a proposal to which the SFA allowed to stand and this proposal was arranged with chats with all the member teams of the WOSFL including representatives of the, LL,/WOSFL committee and its members, that being representatives of the 67 WOSFL teams
  6. im fine, don't need to read through it, sure you can enlighten us all go ahead lolol
  7. again imagine saying to someone if they are calm when you don't know them, met them or know what they are doing right now, what relegation, from the championship, ill leave it for you to bring back on track
  8. What anger, as I said, ill rip the pish out of anyone who comes out with daft posts or at the windup and your het loll, you've railroaded a post away from its thread again, class lololol
  9. civil, you, lololol Nothing about contradicting, you classed me and glans as pyramid boys, which obviously you've made an arse of yourself, again and yeah, I loved the Pyramids when I went to cairo, it was F&%$king awesome
  10. Wee man, im totally fine, I think reading your posts you deliberately leave out what is said on many posts and put in the parts you want. The thread is easy to understand and is self explanatory but you choose to say those things. is gelnsmad part of a WOS committee , I don't know, he states what he believes or has been told or has studied, suggest you do the same
  11. Look I aint any pyramid boy, get it through your thick skull. if you want to take it personally against your so called pyramid guys then do so. I have no connection to anyone in the league, I just read up and listen to what is said on every medium and use my common sense what I think is what. I make observations and tell it the way I see it or the way it is I think your statement to me alone tells its own story to a guy who played junior all his days. I have nothing personal against you, if you come out with something productive and sense then id say so, if you come up with utter pish or a post that looks at the windup up then id rip the pish out of it. I would do the same to anyone, even the idiot troll guy who comes on and even embarrasses the 'saving the junior grade' guys
  12. but people keep referring to the past old west region and the new west senior league. Both have nothing to do with each other. the lowland league decided on the 20 team league after being messed about by the SFA and in their wisdom thought it was best to have the full 16 teams, Bonnyton from the SOS and 3 teams who were expected to be promoted from the championship. The Lowland league obviously thought.this would cause less hassle. No matter where this thread goes, its a done deal. it only remains on the clubs themselves to vote for either 7 down 3 up in first season or two years of 5 down 3 up
  13. it wont have any impact as it nothing to do with the WOS, Lowland League or 20 team Division That's noting to do with any of them
  14. Seriously its not going to effect because there will always be 3 promoted from the tier 7 division this season the 3 conference winners and then when there is a championship at tier 7, then 3 teams will be promoted and 3 teams promoted from tier 8
  15. TheLad, I'm sorry but I totally disagree with what you have stated I don't think any of that is a good enough reason. First teams will know if they can or cant if they have done the correct research as infact its cheaper to run a development squad than normal youth team You have 7 teams in the East joining the current East teams in the Lowland league and you have about 24 teams from the West joining the current development teams located on the West side in the Lowland development league. As stated above, heard that new teams starting are Edinburgh South, Glenrothes, Jeanfield Swifts, Kennoway Star Hearts, Kirkcaldy & Dysart, Tynecastle and Whitehill Welfare and wondered if any more might jump in last minute
  16. but that has absolute nothing to do with the Lowland league. To all 63 clubs the WOS is a new league under the Lowland Association. Any team at any level that joins a new association fall under their rules. The one good thing is that the clubs will be able to run the league themselves. The only difference they cant change, as far as I'm aware is that the League match's and South Challenge cup match's must take precedence over all others, bar the Scottish Senior cup
  17. The SFA were behind the changes as they stipulated that there can only be one division at tier 6, so the Lowland League had to adjust the WOS It doesn't matter what the standings are of the ex junior west region, every team, bar Bonnyton were joining a new Association and league so the association don't need to take into account the standings of the ex west region leagues. You join a new association you fall into their rules. The lowland league wanted it to be 4 conferences with everyone on an equal standing but the SFA would have none of it. So the Lowland league tried their best to make the WOS structured under the constrains given from the SFA.
  18. With the applications to join the development league finishing on deadline day, tomorrow June 11th, will there be any surprises joining from the East of Scotland League? The teams from last season are expected to reapply excluding Newtongrange Blackburn United, Dalkeith Thistle, Dundonald Bluebell, Edinburgh United, Hill of Beath Hawthorn, Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale , Broxburn Athletic, Camelon Juniors, Dunipace, Heriot Watt University, Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts, Musselburgh Athletic, Penicuik Athletic, Preston Athletic and been hearing the following teams are applying to join Edinburgh South, Glenrothes, Jeanfield Swifts, Kennoway Star Hearts, Kirkcaldy & Dysart, Tynecastle and Whitehill Welfare. Anyone know of any other teams from the East of Scotland arranging a U20s team to start?
  19. This information about either 5 or 7 to be relegated has been well known for a while now Yeah Glens I agree with what you stated above. The SFA told the Lowland League there could be only one division in tier 6, even though the Lowland league originally thought they would be allowed to have four conferences at tier 6. The lowland league wanted every team, equal of standing from the 20/21 conference season to then have tier 6 at 16 clubs in the following season 21/22. As SFA told Lowland there would be no conferences in tier 6 so the Lowland league had no choice but to make a 20 'tier 6' league, with the 16 from junior footballs top ex West juniorleague and the 3 promotional teams from the ex West region championship league and Bonnyton Thistle from tier 6 of the South of Scotland League. In order to get back to a 16 team league, George Fraser stated that they hope to get back to this within a couple of years if not before. This means, quite simply, 20/21 season the 3 conference winners are promoted and either 5 are relegated or 7. if 5 relegated it means in season 21/22 there will be an 18 team league which again will have 5 relegated and 3 promoted to it and then its 16 team league. The senior clubs will get to vote on it either 7 relegated to get a 16 team league in the following season or 5 relegated for the two season to get to a 16 team league in two years. IS there any way to motion during the senior meeting of the clubs and the league, so that its 4 teams relegated each year until they work it out to become 16, might take an extra year and everyone will feel a bit relaxed about it, obviously the teams who will be relegated
  20. kl, we've all done it now and then I get your views and understand them but that post threw me as I couldn't fathom what connection to Lowland Development league it had. The only thing is that the development secretary who is dealing with the fixture dates wont really make a difference to him/her as games for the seniors and U20s are on different days. I do suspect however come near the end of season when possible midweek games then this will make a difference and the development secretary will have to check the fixture lists of the seniors. Anyways I heard theres a zoom meeting on Thursday for the Development league with the clubs who have applied so far, on the day of the final date of applications to join.
  21. am a bit lost, what does the West Region junior statement have to do with the Development league and proposed WOS U20 development ?
  22. totally agree and understand, that's one of the problems that has to be addressed, its the same for most first teams who have a grass pitch with floodlights, do they allow the development team to use the pith the night before if its been raining or raining
  23. I don't see there is any confusion The development squad is operated by the first team, and if the first team are having problems then they can fold the development squad so I'm sure before the first team applied to add a development squad to the Lowland league then the park would already be arranged.
