  1. Aye, if someone had asked me the question: 'What did Walkers crisps do in the mid-90s?' I would've said: 'They swapped the colours of Cheese and Onion and Salt and Vinegar packets.' But, after exhaustive internet research, following reading of this thread, they have always had these colours for Walkers. I could've sworn there was a change. Anyway, more importantly, Prawn Cocktail is always the right choice of flavour of crisp
  2. Just sitting through a playlist on Youtube and fancied sharing this video. It's directed by Ben Wheatley, the guy behind Kill List, Field in England, and Sight-Seers. It's a cracking music video imo.
  3. It's something special. Miguel Sanchez sums it up perfectly ^^^. One of my favourite video game experiences.
  4. We got a couple of new air-fresheners, the sort that spray out scent automatically every so often, because, it's ok, I can afford it. But, they make a weird noise when they spray, and I've been slightly startled / got a wee fright a couple of times when they switch on unexpectedly when I'm in the same room. I'm a grown man, in my own house, in 2015 modern Scotland, and I should not be subjected to getting wee frights from air-fresheners
  5. I gave up on S2 after episode 3. We got the show we deserve.
  6. One of the trailers at E3 really caught my imagination, (and any excuse to share the video): ... so, I decided to track down previous games made by the creator / director and got ICO and Shadow of the Colossus for £8 from PSN for PS3. For a start, the parallels between Last Guardian and ICO seem to be clear. It's a beautiful and unsettling game. It begins when you end up trapped in a large castle / shrine, because of reasons, and ... Shadow of the Colossus is exceptional. I'd highly recommend both of these games. They are regarded as classics and deservedly so.

    Breaking Bad

I'm guessing this has been raised before, but I'm re-watching and halfway through Season 2 and ...
  8. Tbf, I appreciate he stayed on etc. But he was never a CB, captain, or worth the money he was on. I can't think where he would fit in to a Killie team so that would make sense not to go for a deal. No offence to the guy, but I can't imagine he'll end up back with us.
  9. Smith and Boyd are clever signings. Smith has has potential to be a cracking left-back in the premiership imo. He got a bad injury for us early on in his first stop, but prior to that looked like a top player. If he gets a bit of stability, gets fit, and gets playing regularly in his position, he should kick on. It's inevitable that Boyd will score loadsa goals. As for Jig, ... Mmm., not so sure.
  10. I couldn't go as high as a 9, but it is a cracking film. For me, it's the coach that is the most memorable character just based on his determination to get the team playing. But, there's probably 4 or 5 people in this who folk will keep in mind after the film.
  11. I put together a wee playlist of remixes for tonight, and thought this one stood out.
  12. An Alternative Reality - 6 / 10 It's a documentary about Football Manager. It talks to the creators, famous fans, scouts etc. and it's fascinating to get to grips with the scale of the database they build for the game, but also to hear the stories of the people who enjoy the game, as there are stories of late-night nail-biting anxiety, and distractions when away from the game, and the highs and despair, depending on outcomes of games, that we all mind from our own FM saves. Next Goal Wins 7 / 10 American Samoa were the worst football team in international football. They were pretty rubbish, getting doings from their Pacific island peers. To be fair, a lot of their young players would enrol and then leave for the American Military, depriving them of a lot of talent. The film charts their development as they appoint a Dutch coach and embark of World Cup qualifying to try to improve their standing. It's surprising the extent to which you begin to support them and there are some memorable characters which you really warm towards.
  13. Doing a bit of DIY and put Never Mind the Bollocks! on .. I forgot how f***ing good this album is.
  14. Aye right! There's no chance that angry guy voted Yes. Clearly a raging unionist. Plus, never understood the good press Davidson gets. It's fairly predictable the stuff with which she gets away.
