  1. If he takes notice of P&B opinions he'd have walked before now.
  2. If appointed he'd probably say"Shite players got me sacked at my last two clubs, you lot better not make it a hattrick". Naysmith basically downed tools in the January when he held out on accepting a new deal which was subsequently withdrawn. (allegedly). We went from an attack minded team near the top to a team set up trying not to lose games, and we inevitably did lose games.
  3. Efe Ambrose IS our best available central defender at the moment, which sadly doesn't say much for the rest. Admittedly his laid back style of play can, and has, proved costly at times but he's also turned in a few (almost) flawless performances as well.
  4. I was mulling over the possibilities of who takes over in the interim from Marvin if he is gone before a replacement is in place. Assuming (hoping) that Grant Murray is also shown the door are any of the current coaching squad or experienced 1st teamers remotely capable of standing in. Todd, Reilly and McKay, I think, being the most experienced are the obvious candidates imo, but I'm not sure they would want to, or could handle stepping in short term. McKay seems a confident type so maybe he would jump at it. Perhaps there's someone else behind the scenes capable. Any ideas?
  5. Dropped a dinner plate on his foot, or stabbed himself on the leg with a fork are causes I heard. The lengths some players will go to not to play under Bartley is pretty impressive.
  6. Not too difficult to comprehend really, he was a change from the usual suspects, he probably interviewed well, he had good coaching experience, he was a not bad player at big clubs under various managers, he was inexperienced in management tbf but after a few miserable seasons we hoped this fresh approach would pay off, obviously not. As a Falkirk fan you know that some appointments just don't work out even when fans are happy with the appointment at the time.
  7. About the only good thing about this showing is that it's upsetting a few Falkirk fans.
  8. Really just needs Connor Murray to come on and score to underline how embarrassing this team is.
  9. I said a few weeks ago I'd be happy to give Bartley 'til the halfway stage to try and get us up to the play-offs or damn near, it doesn't look like he's anywhere near sorting out this fiasco, his time should be up now.
  10. BOOOOOOoooooo! Bartley out! (surely this time.) Sack the Board. BOOOOooooo!
  11. I'm not there, early days, but I tend to agree.
  12. Whit? The way we play against the big teams we've nowt to fear. Mind you we'll probably revert to shit shows in the league before that.
  13. Missed the draw, thanks for putting it out there.
  14. Hamilton apparently were poor yesterday and deservedly beat, we put in a great, fighting performance against the top team in the division above us and won, there's only one logical outcome from a Queens fans point of view, home win. Seriously we need to match yesterday's performance, and the one V Hamilton and Falkirk our place, only hard work will get us up out of this mess.
  15. On the"handball" goal, unlike the main stand lino I wasn't in a good position to see, from Oakbank Terrace, but the angle, speed and height the ball was travelling to the player and the speed the player was running onto it, it would have been virtually impossible to control it without it touching his hand. It seems that those spectators with a better view confirms this. Didn't matter in the end though but it could have been decisive. Also anyone throwing smoke bombs onto an artificial surface, or having smoke bombs at all, are brainless areseholes. Poor Stewarding as well if they didn't keep a better watch after the 1st incident. Hope the cost of any repair required to the pitch is sent to Dundee Utd. (We're a wee poor club)
  16. Don't know about Rocket Man, I think A Rocket is more apt Username.
  17. Examples please of unfounded negative comments. I quite like McIntyre, he did ok today, but his performance today was hardly flawless like you claim.
  18. Absolutely delighted and astounded by that performance but equally pissed off that we only seem to lift our game against supposedly better teams. Players need to take a good look at themselves. Roll on the cup draw.
  19. Apart from not jumping with his man for United's opener and being taken to the cleaners a few times by a speedy winger in the second half he did very well.
  20. He did have a manner as if he was speaking down to people with a "I know better than you" inference.
  21. I'm not saying I'm for Scott Brown being considered as Manager or Player/Manager, but he's hardly a rookie as some are saying, he's had a wee bit of experience at a level a good bit higher than we're at. Even if we were to get a season out of him playing it would surely be a benefit. I would say the man lacked a bit of class as captain of Celtic with some of his antics but he's probably matured a bit with more experience and responsibility.(you'd hope). I wouldn't exactly be over the moon if he was seriously being considered, but it's a no brainier if the alternative is Neil Warnock.
  22. I've followed Queens long before there was a Travel Club, and have travelled with them, but no need to be a member of that to have strong feelings for the club.
