3 for Monday. I’m not too displeased with this as I only knew one of the ten. This score sums up the start of my week.

Motherwell FC - A Thread For All Seasons
kingjoey replied to Casagolda's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
Serious question. When you sell Gallagher in January, will he command a bigger transfer fee than we got for Scott McKenna? -
I have criticised him lots of times when he has actually gone off on a rant or made ridiculous statements like the height of Scottish people holding us back. However I just think that everything he said last night was more than reasonable. I definitely agree on his statement about the propaganda of playing it out from the back. It seems to me that you can only be considered a “big team” if you continually put yourselves under unnecessary pressure by playing a three yard pass to a defender in your box when he is going to be immediately pressed, come hell or high water. Anyway, I’ll agree to disagree.

I’ve just listened to the podcast this morning and I felt that Gordon Strachan summed up what happened on Thursday night perfectly. No idea where you get the idea that it was an “odd rant”. What comes out of your post is your utter hatred for Gordon Strachan no matter what he does or says.

Rangers vs Aberdeen - 22nd November

If we win this and our two games in hand, Celtic and Hamilton away, we’re only three points behind our opponents. Just sayin’. -

Seeing as you lost, it would have been as well being Annan tonight. It wouldn’t have changed the outcome. -

I did say that I was a bit mature, but I didn’t say how big a bit. -
The St. Mirren FC 2023/24 thread

It’s not sounding good for St Mirren in their disciplinary hearing. A Kilmarnock spokesman has said they “haven’t done anything wrong”, however Jim Goodwin saying that St Mirren “don’t believe we have done a great deal wrong.” So not nothing then. -

I was under the impression that you were like me, older and a bit mature, obviously not. Last night McMullen had loads of the ball. He continually drove forward with it and did absolutely zero constructively. He would either run the ball out of play for a goal kick, drive into the box and pass to a Saints player, or cross to a Saints player. He may get away with that in a lower league, but won’t against most Premiership teams. -

That was a league below where you are now. I am only going by what my eyes told me last night. -

It certainly wouldn’t be deliberate from McMullen. -

You seriously thought that McMullen had a good game?? -

You’re spot on there. Your attempts at goal last night had absolutely nothing to do with bad luck. -

Watched the match tonight. I thought that Fuchs looks like a player who has been brought to the club on a doctored You Tube video. McMullen was excellent at getting the ball and running with it, but unfortunately he has absolutely nothing after that. I enjoyed the match though, mainly because of the multitude of errors throughout the game. -

I don’t think that he can leave Wright out, and don’t think he will. He will stick with Hedges, Wright and Cosgrove, injuries allowing. -

Campbell’s been out for so long that I can’t see him coming straight into the side in a game against Rangers.
