  1. The wife is offski again for a week. Football on the big TV tonight.
  2. I visited my pal at his home a couple of times, including just last week. His family said that it helped him and gave him something to look forward to. He died at the weekend. Not at all unexpected. When I saw him last, I really didn't think I would see him again.
  3. Hulkenberg has won more points in the last 2 races then Perez has won in the last 6.
  4. https://www.theguardian.com/politics/article/2024/jul/06/defeated-joanna-cherry-snp-nicola-sturgeon-social-agenda No mention of the fact that Cherry was beaten by P&B Edinburgh Branch favourite, Scott Arthur.
  5. Sam Carling MP (Labour) was born in 2002.
  6. Family Affair (Netflix) Utter dross from start to finish. 0/10. I'd rather watch Rocky V than this again.
  7. After the first sentence, I was wondering why. After the second, mystery solved.
  8. England were dung and deserved to lose. They are eye bleedingly bad. Harry Kane is a shitebag. All quotes from my missus tonight.
  9. It was indeed a Croftgasm today.
  10. I'm guessing it's time to lock the thread now.
  11. Is Mick Stubbles any good? Sue Barker keeps mentioning him at Wimbledon, but I've never seen him play.
  12. Is it just me, or are the tops of heads getting cut off in these pictures?
  13. Rewatching season 3 of original Star Trek. It gets worse every time. Plato's Stepchildren, famous for the interracial kiss, was abysmal. Folk forget that after kissing Uhura, Kirk started whipping her. Diabolical. Utter pish. I'll leave it at least a year until I watch again.
  14. Is that when players go slow and steady for ages? Then finish big?
  15. The baldness of this new cabinet worries me.
  16. Question is - does he go now, or does he delay it? @Ludo*1 now we know who are MP's and who aren't, get ready for a proper poll
  17. Whilst most papers show a grinning Kier Starmer on their front pages with headlines like Kier We Go, or Labour Landslide, spare a thought for readers and workers at the Daily Express. Brings a tear to the eye, that.
  18. 2 hours, 7 minutes to go until my summer holiday starts.
