Rooting for Airdrie? You can’t be serious can you?I could barely take my eyes off Sir Ian at the game today, he cut a fine figure in those tight, tailored slacks.

Stefan McCluskey bagged a hat-trick for Forfar today.
For some reason I dread meeting them in the play-off, think it goes back to seeing us get papped out of the Cup up at Station Park a few years ago.

I've now seen a number of comments regarding the 150th strip/badge, and whilst people are entitled to their opinion it is better if it is an informed one. So, to put on record, almost every facet of the 150th Anniversary effort has been 'outsourced' by the DFC Board to a four-person volunteer Steering Committee of which I am a member. Our remit covers replica strips, merchandise, publications, dinners, gala matches, a Hall of Fame intro and a public exhibition. The DFC Board obviously has oversight and approval and is providing seed funding to be recompensed by sales, but the organisation, sourcing and goods are down to ourselves - all I ask is that we are judged on that basis and not on previous history.
My particular responsibility has been merchandise and as such a considerable amount of effort had been made to ensure that the gold shading on items is just that, gold. Jordo mentioned the code number and I attach the Pantone reference which was advised to our supplier. However, gold can a very difficult colour to obtain on certain items; polo shirts for example, and the attached file relates to the only manufacturer we could find in a search of almost twenty websites. Similarly, we have drilled down into the yarn colour for the scarves and hats as per the last attachment (see if you can guess which shade was selected....)
I hope that demonstrates that 'small details matter' to us too. We're doing this for the love of Dumbarton Football Club the historic institution and we're not looking for plaudits, but how about putting the trademark negativity on hold guys until you actually see the stuff ?
Great post.
For what it's worth I think both shirts will sell like the proverbial hot cakes.
Macron making them is a bonus too.
I mean, who doesn't want a pic of old Boghead on the back of their away shirt, a real nice touch that.

First time in a while I really enjoyed the show today, Stuart, Chick & Tony Fitzpatrick were very good. Some good stories.
Made a nice change from Cowan's reminiscing about seeing Fran & Anna back in 1982 at the Ayr Gaiety pish.

At least we got a point but Montrose were definitely there for the taking, unfortunately we are inept at that sort of thing.
We are the Gable Endies bogey team for sure though, this season, for some reason.

New kits are sexy as f**k for next season!
Looks like Macron will be the new shirt supplier.
Bye bye Joma

A number of their players walked out in protest at the sacking.
4th in League 2 and well in contention for a play-off place.
They'd probably pump us if we are lucky enough to finish 9th.

They may have stopped playing for him but for their own pride the players shouldn't be giving up. We're only two points behind Peterhead. That ought to give them motive. Of course, an upturn in results would see Farrell staying on.......
I was at East Fife a week or so back, we were sat near the dugouts & I can tell you the majority of players weren't even taking Farrell or McKeown on.
When Stokes was subbed (and he wasn't our worst on the day tbf) he was raging, never went near the dugout, instead legged over the barrier & sat in the stand.

What makes Andy Graham any better or worse than Farrell, at least to the end of the season?
Ok, appoint Boghead Ranter then, he's up for it.
Anyone on here would be an upgrade on Farrell, never mind Andy Graham.

Would love to see us take a chance on someone like Andy Graham as manager, instead of some floating jobber.
Taking a chance on Ian Murray, a guy just finishing his playing career worked out ok for us.

Your right, there has been very little player development. Just “this one doesn’t work there so I’ll either move him to a new untried position, replace him or freeze him out”
the only player who I have changed my opinion on is ramsbottom. He kept the two clean sheets at home to east fife. And for me he’s better than Wright.
Signing Kieran Wright to replace Ramsbottom is just about the only thing Farrell has got correct.
Lol

Another good home support today & we got served that inept shit.
3 goals handed on a plate to Queens, Farrell has absolutely no idea how to set up his team/formation, he's taking us on the same trajectory he took Stranraer, and as for our pitch, 2 weeks without a game on it & the surface was even worse today. Lol what a joke

Farrel has to go . Why should we be any different from anyone else .its a results driven game. He has lost the dressing room. Players aren't playing for him at all . It's time to begin rebuilding for next season no matter what league we're in . The last two games have been massive for us and ended up poor.
Fan numbers are down at home and for the first time today it has been evident the away crowds have fallen too . Struggling to get a supporters bus away compared to last season and the large number of away fans who travel by other means have fallen too .
I think players are playing for him, just in the wrong positions more often than not.
And that is down to Farrell's bizarre team selections.
We had a good, noisy home crowd last week v alloa, nearly 700, outwith hosting Falkirk/Dundee in the Cup at the rock, that's been our best home attendance this season, two weeks ago we took about 200 through to Clyde.
At Peterhead today it was the usual number for a long trip, 50-80 fans.
As for supporters buses last season........well there weren't any.

That's it, in a nutshell.
Yet another game, there for the taking today.
To be filed alongside Peterhead last week, East Fife away last month...etc etc
