A few seem to favour us finishing top. I take it nobody has noticed that our striking options thus far are Jaime Wilson,Finlay Malcolm and Gary Oliver . Add to that we have the same powderpuff midfield no marks we had last season with the addition of McGinn and a couple away. A lot of work still to be done in those areas if we are to be near it.

I highly doubt Wilson will be here. He'll be one of the lower earners you'd have thought. I fully expect him, Sneddon and Holt to be either punted permanently or season loans elsewhere. McKay and McCann (if he's not favoured) will be the hardest to shift. Ross I don't think will be on huge wages either. Martin I think will be back up to PJ. But yeah needs to be more than two gone.

Hopefully a couple out the door at the same time.

McGinn and Morrison as had been mentioned, Morrison is also partial to spitting the dummy and if he wasn't the only one in our squad who has pace to burn I wouldn't be sad to see the back of him. He can't cross the road and should never be allowed to take a penalty again. He's effective though through the middle as his pace scares defenders and if he doesn't have time to think about it can finish . The rest are nowhere near good enough. The Hetherington came onto a game towards the end of the season ethos doesn't wash he was utter dugshite for the majority. Seb Ross, McGuffie, Nesbitt similar. The best midfielder we possibly had was big Krasniqi from Huddersfield and he never got a look in much before the aforementioned.

Brad Spencer re signed at Raith so I think that'll put to bed any Raith players coming to us.

Given we signed a left back yesterday then McCann will be second choice unless the plan is to play him further up. He's been a disappointment tbh, expected a lot more from him. A lot might depend on if he has any sort of clause in his contract.

There will be a few more leaving Falkirk yet I think. Whether Nesbitt and McCann are amongst them remains to be seen.

When you look at some of the shite still under contract Charlie Telfer is better than a lot of them. However he was also an underachiever, sometimes you just need to totally clear the decks. At least if he decides to chuck it at some point he's got a career ahead of him, pretty sure I read somewhere he's got a law degree.

McGinn is a very good signing for this level, Mackie I don't know enough about, he can't be any worse than McCann ( I hope), Oliver is a bit meh though. I actually thought he was older than he is, seems to have been around for ages. That said when your other striker is Jaime Wilson then he'll look like a world beater.
