    Don't be daft. We are currently joint top. Farrell isn't going to walk and we certainly aren't going to sack him. Regardless of form, he was backed at the start of the season. Yes he maybe shouldve gone at the end of the season but he didn't. He's 8 months left, he will see out that contract I'm 99% sure of that. If we go up, I'm pretty sure the board will consider it. If we don't it will likely be a parting of the ways. Asking for him sacked just now is stupidity.

    Cup result. Pleslie999 draws with @Albino Rover Some match. I managed to blunder a rook after 3 moves then clawed my way back ending up miles ahead, failed to convert leaving a draw the only outcome. We go again with colours switched I believe? @Aim Here?

    Cheers for the game. I felt that's the best game iv played in a long time. Apologies u ended up on the end of it. I had all the space I felt and your pieces were a bit stuck in the corner. Apparently the analysis says I had mate in 3 for a few moves but there was noway I was seeing it

    I think we do need to look at the bigger picture. I was pissed of yesterday as were lots of us but as has been pointed out before, we have won 7 from 10 and are 2 points clear at the top. OK the 7 wins came in a row and followed it up with a loss a draw and another loss. Look at it another way. If we had lost game 2, drawn game 5, then lost game 8, we would still be 2 points clear at the top and noone would be bleating about managers getting sacked. We dropped some points, it will happen. If we win next week against Albion Rovers and beat Cumnock in the Scottish Cup I'm sure we will be back to being cheery cheery until the next loss. Last season is done and dusted. Decisions made in the summer, whether we agreed or not it doesn't matter, its done. We started afresh and ultimately the majority have been happy with the start and pleasantly surprised with how some of the signings have panned out. Sacking a manager who's 2 points clear at the top is madness regardless of opinions. Be serious its not going to happen. And those calling for it to happen to replace him with kids coaches and junior guys sums up a big chunk of our support. Stevie has repaid the backing of the board with the start he made. He has earned at least another quarter. If we go on a slump and fall out of the top 4 then maybe the betwetters have a point but I am pretty convinced we will see Stevie see out the season at least.

    I tend to miss a lot if the scores (Inc 10s) as I post early and don't check the thread until the next day. I tend to scroll past the 30 odd posts iv missed. For you though I am going to pay far more attention and give out more green beauty.

    2 results from Div B. Pleslie999 beats XCTR94 by resignation Pleslie999 beats the_kid1433 by resignation Felt I played really well in both games for a change. XCTR94 helped by blundering a rook early although I tried my best to hand the advantage back in the middle game before getting a pawn to promote to force the resignation. Against The_kid1433 I felt I had a good position for the entire game and once I had his king pinned in the corner by my 2 bishops it was a tough position to find a way out of . Cheers to both.
