  1. To be fair, Cosgrove is probably the difference with his goals. Can't really argue with Aberdeens position up until now although Motherwell fans may argue the toss. If/when Turnbull gets back to full fitness then will be a good battle between both clubs for 3rd with us comfortably 5th due to many 1-0 wins that will hopefully get fat Parks seething. That and we have the hallmark of any Mcinnes side which is a degree of resilience even when not playing great and managing to conjure just enough moments to win games. It's not pretty but probably the key difference between ourselves and say Hearts/Hibs this season. Certainly wouldn't say we're markedly better than either of them.
  2. In a league where this Aberdeen team are third I don't think anyone is coming off well to be honest.
  3. Saw this last night finally. Absolutely brilliant.
  4. Morelos two hands on the back pushing the centre half to get clean through was clever play according to the commentary.
  5. To be fair brysons run out wide was designed to drag a man out the wall and create a gap. It was quite clever actually.
  6. Goggins is mental. I listened to his audiobook whilst marathon training. Assuming it’s all true it’s an outrageous story. Inspiring guy. He’s been married like 4 times though so might not be conducive to family life.
  7. Very much so. Sounds cheesey but just tried to focus on being grateful for having it back in my routine as it was driving me mad not being able to exercise. Still annoying though.
  8. I felt utterly pathetic when I started back at the gym after a 6 week absence when I injured my rib. It was embarrassing. 4/5 weeks on and I’m nearly back to where I was, it doesn’t take as long as you think but is hellishly frustrating at first.
  9. Aye didn't think so. I'm too young to remember that season but no one that does looks back at 94 as one that got away. 1991 was the real boot in the pie for us.
  10. We finished 2nd in 94 only 3 points behind Rangers, although not sure how close we actually were to winning it. The following season was when we narrowly escaped relegation and was a large resetting of expectations. We never really challenged again, unless you count the Mcinnes efforts.
  11. Derek Adams name comes up every time the Aberdeen job becomes available/looks like Mcinnes will leave. Him going to Hearts might have spared me that stress.
  12. Indeed, the deflectors are up and trying to make people on here seem as if they're picking fascism over Irish republicanism. When the reality it's just a big f**k off to all of it at the football. This moral high ground stance the Celtic fans are taking is utterly laughable.
  13. Guess which one of you highland clubs we're going to make love to now.
  14. In fairness I think his point was that used his platform to discuss those issues from a fans point of view, which often contradicted your mainstream media outlets, in reference to Monkey's point that he just defended the status quo. Don't think he was claiming he held some niche and bold views on those things.
  15. It is but not uncommon. There's a definite attitude of 'yeah the diddies say they dislike them, but they don't really'. We also went through a hideous period at Aberdeen of players fairly openly supporting one side or the other. Zander Diamond (club captain at the time) with his Celtic birthday cake anbd birthday hat and posting it on Bebo springs immediately to mind.
  16. Look at you picking an argument I wasn't surprised, there's a difference between busy and unable to move. I would have given it a miss but the Mrs was insistent on going while we were in Rome. It is an impressive place, but ruined by how busy it is. Is that ok for you or do you want to pick holes in something else?
