  1. Bullying tactics. He knows how important the US is now to the UK so he’s going to milk this as much as he can and humiliate them in the process. Openly insult your ambassadors, your PM, your government, the mayor of your capital city and yet still you will come crawling back looking for trade deals.
  2. Package holidays are grim. Shipped into the sun like cattle and fed copious amounts of terrible watered down booze and cheap food as long as you stay in your hotel and don’t murder anyone. All Until you’re deemed ready to be shipped back home to your hovel, hungover to f**k, twice the size and not rested in the slightest. You got some sun though, so that’s a win.
  3. Been quite heavily involved in pre season games and seemingly looked quite good. We're pretty thin on numbers so I suspect he'll be around for the European games and we'll take a decision later in the window on whether to get him out on loan again.
  4. To be fair I absolutely agree, people do make Glasgow.
  5. You might be right. I’ll plead ignorance as I’ve not really seen enough to be convinced he’s got it.
  6. Does he though? I have a feeling that free kick against them may have over inflated his potential.
  7. Hopefully kicks on. Could see him ending up in the championship long term unfortunately.
  8. Yeah RG, go back to the Dundee thread where you belong. Interesting signing from killie, know f**k all about the guy but could well be a coup.
  9. Good to see you have a more measured view on the dons. Hopefully the beginning of a bright new era.
  10. Genuinely think there’s a belief at the club that may still has the potential to make a massive contribution. He’s actually very popular amongst a lot of the Aberdeen support he just earns a salary that needs to be justified with goals. If the money is right well let him go but I suspect we’d be delighted if he could go on loan, regain confidence and come back and hit the ground running with us.
  11. So he’s the type of manager that thinks there’s a player in there so would like to retain him if he gets his confidence back? Mental eh.
  12. Jamie langfield contributed a lot to our league cup success but he was considerably worse than joe Lewis or Danny ward who have won nothing with us.
  13. Well there’s an incentive to produce players worthy of the dons [emoji846]
  14. I do agree with the sentiment but shankland could really have gone directly to the premiership and gotten himself in the shop window this coming season. However, I always find it funny when punters throw out the lack of ambition comment about footballers when they have probably done very little of substance in their own life. Finally, could ICT start producing players worth stealing again, now we’ve lost Graeme shinnie you owe us.
  15. Aye he’s pretty shameless about that. Heard from one or two girls on the receiving end that he’s a bit tragic in his relentlessness.
  16. Dumb question but do you mean shankland? I was surprised at his decision to be fair.
  17. Totally agree Russell. Some people have never been able to get past his Celtic connections though.
  18. The relationship between McGinn and the Aberdeen support has always been a weird one. There’s a section of the support that cannot wait to jump down his throat when he is perceived to be not trying or having a shite game. He’s a classy player but inconsistent, always has been. Classic cliche but if McGinn consistently played at his potential he’d be nowhere near us. However, I think he is slowing down and injuries are becoming more frequent so id be reluctant to be too reliant on him this season.
  19. This. He’s absolutely horrendous no matter what the skewed statistics.
