  1. We haven't looked remotely like ourselves after the first minute. That opening attack was exactly what I expected, and then we've just disappeared. Playing more like Barry Smith's Rovers side, just playing some sideways passes and then launching it. Armstrong, Tait and Ross haven't touched the ball.
  2. It was definitely Nando booked, eh? Matthews tackle was fine - firm, but clearly played the ball. Nando went in hard and basically saw the ball go by him.
  3. I have no idea why we've suddenly decided that long balls are the answer.
  4. After the first 20 seconds we've barely strung two passes together.
  5. I don't know where some people have gotten the expectation that our fifth choice centre half should be a world beater. There are teams in this division fielding the likes of Sean McGinty and Gregor Buchanan in their first choice back line. That we have a fifth choice is a remarkable privilege; that we a fifth choice who can make it to the game on time, point in the right direction, and win his headers is a fucking miracle.
  6. It's a joint role. He's the Season Ticket Holder & Club Sponsor Liaison Executive as well as being the club's appointed Covid Safety Officer.
  7. As hilarious as it is that they feel its necessary to apologise for the existence of George Galloway, that's not really the point. This season has massive "Raith Rovers 2016-17" vibes. A board that isn't satisfied just appointing a dreadful manager and letting him assemble a fucking dreadful team, but insists on baring their arse to the world as the club quietly implodes.
  8. As long as the player you're scouting doesn't venture over to the far side of the pitch at any stage.
  9. Scouts are ultimately doing their job, just as much as the players are. Given how important big transfers are to the financial plans of most clubs in this country, the last thing anyone wants to do is put barriers in their way. I understand that they could potentially do the same thing watching the video, but if I was about to recommend a player that's going to cost my club a few hundred thousand pounds, I'd want to watch him for a the full 90 minutes on a couple of occasions, rather than sitting in the hoose hoping the fucking mad AI camera pans across him every fifteen minutes. People seem to have a really weird chip on their shoulder when it comes to scouts, which I've never understood. You could probably make a better case for locking agents out, although I imagine they'd argue that they've got a vested interest in keeping a close eye on their clients, and they'll be on the lookout for new ones too.
  10. Some right weird opinions offered up to try and excuse Queen of the South and/or George Galloway here. It's utterly irrelevant how many season tickets he has or whether or not he's sponsored someone's jersey. Football matches should be attended by as few people as possible. When clubs in the division above are being hammered for not abiding by various Covid-related SPFL regulations, it's moronic for Queens to be inviting a punter along and equally moronic for him to be publicising and flaunting it.
  11. More importantly, is Gregor Buchanan not injured for this one?
  12. Difficult to see with pixels the size of beach balls but I thought Buchanan backed in more than Mendy pushed forward.
  13. Jings. The wind really caught that clearance from Thomson. Absolutely backs to the wall stuff now. Ten minutes is a long, long time.
  14. Shite shite shite. Maybe talking about the game, maybe about the stream. Make your own mind up.
  15. This is by far the worst experience I've had. Caley's might be dreadful commentary and erratic camerawork but at least you can see the game. I'm also down to 360p now and when it does run it's like watching someone talk you through a game on PowerPoint. Brutal.
  16. Maybe it was in the first half too, but the wind is definitely blowing towards the Railway end now. Big 25 minutes for the Rovers to keep it tight. Also, stream now appears to have chucked it altogether.
  17. Of course Manny Duku has to come off with an injury. Of course he does.
  18. Of course we've had to change goalkeepers. Of course we have.
  19. You don't expect that from Neil Parry. Not easy for any goalkeeper on a day like today, but that wasn't one of the more powerful cross-cum-shots that you'll see.
  20. I assume so. Kevin Cawley is getting it particularly tight.
