Arbroath isn't too bad if you avoid Mayf and Wardykes, Montrose is probably alright if you're old or if you want to raise a family but it's actually a really boring place to live for someone my age. Brechin and Forfar on the other hand are just shite.

Grampian fire service had white ones because apparently a study showed that white or yellow were the easiest colours to see at high speed, and since they arrived white it made no sense to paint them. They're starting to get rid of them now since all the regional devices merged.

I used to work in the 999 call centre at BT in Dundee, unfortunately this level of stupidity is very common. My favourite one was the guy who phoned to get the fire brigade to cut the lock off his bike because he couldn't be arsed walking home to get the key.

I would contact whoever she bought the tickets from and try and get them put in your name. It says the ID and the name on the ticket needs to match, but I'm not sure how strict they'll actually be.

I'll be seeing The View 3 times in the space of a couple of months. Next Thursday at Montrose Town Hall, the week after in Glasgow at the Barrowlands, and if I can get a ticket, I'll be seeing them with The Courteeners.

Don't even think this is petty but it definitely got on my nerves. Doing rounds tonight between 8 of us, gets to number 8 and he comes out with "I only have a tenner on me, just took enough to get a couple of pints" Fucking say that when we agree to do rounds pal!

The Friend at Hand beside Russel Square station was reasonably priced from what I remember, although the last time I was in there was probably about 3 years ago.
