Southampton’s kits over the past 10 years or whatever have almost exclusively been fucking minging.

I’m not convinced Crawford is what we need, but if it’s him the heads gone from half the support will be entertaining at least.

It’s more that it looked far clearer in the concept kit that won the vote. The finished article looks like it’s been held back almost.

Why do some folk get so touchy over their team’s kits I haven’t seen it in the flesh, no. There’s several decent quality photos been posted in this thread and unless you were told it was there you wouldn’t know to look for it. If you’re gonna go for it do it properly.

It’s not a bad kit but it would be nicer if you could see the Paisley pattern without needing a microscope.

It looks like a Ross County kit to me.

Sure @Finlay21 said it was 1 bespoke kit each season and that there was gonna be a third this season. Both the home and away this season so far look like templates.

Funnily enough Kenny Miller also threw the toys out the pram under Levein by leaking the 4-6-0 team to the papers because he was pissed off at not starting, although there were no consequences to that as far as I remember. The Burley and Levein “eras” had plenty of players spitting the dummy out, particularly strikers.

Fletcher was dropped for thinking he could just turn up to squads whenever he fancied it. It was annoying it dragged on for so long but the manager needs to command some level of respect, and you don’t get that by letting players walk all over you.

When a player is described as “a great servant to the club” - as if said player has been playing for said club out of the goodness of their own heart, rather than because they were getting a wage out of it. It’s exponentially even more annoying when it’s used to describe some c**t who’s earning hundreds of thousands a week.

Amongst the hilarity there’s a point to be made that Southgate’s England rely so heavily on playing at Wembley. You could probably count on one hand the amount of times they’ve won away from Wembley against non-diddy countries the past few years.
