By "spat the dummy out" I assume you mean answered every claim you lot have clearly and with details of dates to make their responses easily verifiable? The simple fact remains that Stewart Robertson could have asked these questions at any point in the last month and got your answers, but instead you lot went down the 'dossier' route calling foul, most likely just to appease their moon howling fans.

That was the party line, aye. But without knowing too much about football finances, I'd imagine if Colin Weir did put his money solely into the youth set up, then that would save Thistle funding it from their "main" accounts, saving money which could then be used to provide additional funds to the first team.

Don't get me wrong, I was raging when I first heard. But its been 4-5 weeks now since the vote and the more you look at it, the more I think they didnt have any other alternative. If Thistle have to spend a season or two (hopefully thats all) in the seaside leagues to keep, say, an Elgin or a Stirling Albion afloat, then I'd rather that than risk losing those clubs. And FWIW, weve been s clusterfuck on and off the park for 3 years now, every chance we were going down anyway.

As a Thistle fan can I please ask that you never lump us in with the **** and ***-lites ever again. The whole situation is shit and there is no "good" solution only a least worst as you say. It's obviously a kick to the baws for us since we were only 2pts behind with a game in hand. But obviously some teams had to lose out regardless of the outcome, its just unfortunate that currently falls on us, Hearts and Stranraer. The most important thing through all this is that we come out the otherside with 42* senior clubs and as many Highland/Lowland teams as possible.

Simple reply to be made here: The Rangers* could have asked these questions either publicly or privately at any time in the last 4-5 weeks and probably gotten an answer. Instead of doing that, they decided to claim conspiracy and that they had evidence that would bring Scottish football to it's knees. A claim which today has been proven to be, as most suspected, utter bollocks. All Rangers* have done is act up to their fanbase to further fuel the "everyones against us" vibe that has been going round since 2012 to help sell season tickets. Poor show.

The Rangers* "dossier" of evidence states that there is a potential for broadcasters to redeem money and that the figure could be £10m. Rangers* have provided no evidence but have instead posed a hypothetical scenario. It is also hardly a stretch to say that anyone deemed intelligent and business orientated enough to be made chairman/CEO of a senior football club should be able to work out that if the league is only ~80% complete and cup competitions abandoned that there could be a financial reduction from broadcaster and competition sponsors, it's hardly rocket science is it? Not saying it shouldn't have been discussed, but give the chairmen/CEOs some credit.

I imagine the evidence is something along the lines of X number of members on the SPFL and SFA boards went to a Catholic school and at least 2 have been to the Vatican in the past 10 years or some other such nonsense. -

How the actual f**k has Jacqui Low managed to squirm her way in to the discussions about reconstruction? She was barely back through the door after being punted and now suddenly she's one of the ones who will decide the future of the whole of Scottish football? Strange. -

We've been shite for 3 years now and have been hapless most of the season. It would be a stretch to say we would have avoided relegation anyway but this is just about the most Thistle way that it could of happen. And for anyone saying they will avoid away games so as not to give their money to sides that voted for the league to end, have a word with yourself. Thats the type of Blue Pound drivel we all rightfully slag **** for. If Thistle accepting relegation saves even one SPFL club from going under then its worth it in the long term interests of all fans of Scottish football. Lets not kid ourselves that we wouldnt have voted 'yes' in the ballot if it suited us. -
Thats honestly fucking criminal. For clubs from a league that boasts about its finances to seek hand outs from tax payers so their overpaid multimillionaire players and owners dont need to take a wage is nothing short of a scandal. Any club seeking furloughing should be banned from paying transfer fees for at least the next 2 years. If you have enough money to spend millions on a player, you have enough money to pay non playing salaries.

The Icon strips on Fifa20 would make fantastic Scotland strips. Always like a small bit of gold on a Scotland home top.

Tedious Covid-19 Poll Alert

Play this season to a finish whenever it is safe to go back. 2021/22 season each team faces each other only twice (once home, once away). Depending on when we go back, 2021/22 League Cup group stage to be one game against each opponent, or two games (one home, one away). 2021/22 Scottish Cup to exclude Junior and Amateur teams for one season only. Start 2022/23 as usual. -

I'm not condoning what the other poster said. Football rivalries are irrelevant compared to the possible consequences of coronovirus. As much as I dislike certain fans, in particular Sevco fans, I'd never wish genuine harm on any of them (apart from maybe the racist element and the bottle/coin throwing kind). -

Hilarious that a Chinese virus is going to come closer to stopping 10IAR than the Zombied Going For 55 Brigade. The horrible thing is I bet there are some mutants out there who want it to get worse just so the league cant be completed. Note: coronovirus is obviously not hilarious and hope every fan, player and staff of all clubs come through okay. -

"And the balls with Canny Defend, Canny Defend passes it to Waste Of Space, Waste of Space knocks it wide to Utter Shite. Poor first touch by Utter Shite but he still has the ball, he tries to find Willnae Score with a cross but the defender cuts it out easily......silence.......and the Jags concede again." -
What? I think McGregor is a cracking player for Celtic, but I'm not sure he has played well for Scotland for a while now. He shouldn't be a guaranteed starter imo.

Despite everything coming out of Chelsea that they weren't surprised by the performance, the other 4 or 5 games he had had where he's given a good account of himself and the games for our U21s when he has been our best player? Aye, one game wonder.
