Quite surprised on the media stuff. Expected Motherwell to be a much more accommodating place with doing the media. It was like they were surprised to have us there but I assume much bigger media teams than us work there regularly. We are way too reliant on Sky in this country. The setup felt a bit archaic and muddled. BBC had one single camera, QTV had one single camera and despite what it says in the commercial requirements we didn't manage to get a feed from them. Really disappointed there's not any more joined up thought in these competitions.

I watched quite a bit of the youth games with streaming the home fixtures. Luke Rankin in my opinion was far the superior striker. Rayan was physical, but frequently offside and with a touch reminiscent of what we saw with Conor Sammon in the first team.
The foul and penalty won against Falkirk was a handball no? If it was I'll give Mohammed the credit that he was going for the challenge on I assume Brad McKay and forced the error. We got a fee for him and I thought it was good business at the time but he may well have improved at Dundee.1 -

Just on an interesting note to me. There's a contracted social media post went up this week for the cinch competition.
Acciesfc has made an attempt - although its linked it to the Hamilton website when it was meant to go to the cinch competition page.
Theacciesfc hasn't done it yet although there's a few more days yet.

We were awful to begin the season, couldn't score and couldn't defend but I'd say turned the corner before Brian Rice left and are now 6 games unbeaten under Andy Graham. Better football on show and I think we've still got a gear to go up if everyone is on form at the same time.

His deal ran out on Sunday but when Motherwell highlighted him as a threat I thought I would just leave it up to not give them any clue.
I assume it'll depend on no other strikers going out but it's a good sign - they've got Innes Cameron, Marley Watkins, Andrew Dallas, Kyle Vassell and Bobby Wales. 5 strikers for two positions is probably too much. Primed for a late announcement though

Not to put hope in anyone for Saturday but Motherwell losing Biereth is big. Sure I had the stat no player with more touches in the box than him for Motherwell in the last 10 games. They've got some amount of injuries too.

We do run with a big team , 2 on comms , a match reporter and myself on facebook and sometimes twitter , these are voluntary posts but there are full time employees on the media side.
I did speak with Gregor (Sleith?). He was the paid one. It was the other boys I asked about it and they said your media team was all volunteers and outwith the big 4-5 in Scotland that was what the going rate. Was quite depressed at that.

Have to laugh at that. Even if nothing else comes of it now that is some sensational underhanded tactics. Get anyone's eye off the ball for a game or two and you could well be back in the race for the title.

I have some sympathy for @LeodhasXD here. He was asked to comment, did so and folk didn't take too kindly to his view - as they say, don't shoot the messenger just because you don't like the message.
I'll also add that there is a massive variance in what clubs big and small are doing with - seemingly - vast or small resources. We're now back to the age old argument of whether a paid service should solely be staffed by volunteers and any criticism is frowned upon regardless of the perceived quality.
When the topic was mentioned it was obvious it was going to pan out the way it has.
I must be getting old because twice I've typed out responses and turned the page on p&b to see a response and lost what I was typing before... It's fine I'm big enough and ugly enough to live and die on my own opinions. Bit boring to keep it to yourself.
@Captain ChugwashI've not got anything against your volunteers. You can ask them about our interactions this season if you want. They won't tell you I was unprofessional. I even contributed to helping you get your stream on because your dongle was acting up with my own stuff. They may have had issues in the past because they set their cameras up in places that blocked others view or were a safety risk in a gangway but it's relatively smooth nowadays as far as I'm aware. We just don't have video facilities from a stand that was built before the real takeoff of broadcasting. It's on my list of things to do when I get a spare million or so.
The real issue I always have had is this shield behind the volunteer made - criticism is immoral. If you want to market the game in Scotland beyond a media that are obsessed with two clubs you need to employ someone to do it and use your money as efficiently as possible to get the best possible product. Apparently the status quo of that line is volunteers. This is not unique to Falkirk and is endemic in Scottish football. St Johnstone were here early on in the season and everyone I spoke to was a volunteer.3 -

Absolutely not spent years learning how to do it. What they did leave me originally with a camera, a wage and a free reign.
Nowadays I own all my equipment barring the camera body and the headsets that the club provided.0 -

You'ld have to ask them, but I don't think they post on here so it would need to be through official channels.
I'm going to level with you I'm not going to go out of my way to get into contact with them. No problem telling them what I think when they're about though. If it's a problem with rendering the video with a faulty laptop that could be a mitigating factor for the way it looks now but it was definitely better at the beginning of the season and something is off.

Need to find all instances of that Wasp badge that he has and burn them. Made a 3d blender render for the match graphics at the beginning of the highlights. It's still kicking around though.
Made new flat illustrator assets a few years ago that are better.
